‘…promise ring!’ He said. He opened a blue box and held the ring out. It was absolutely stunning and when the sun hit it it glistened. I held my hand out and he put the ring on my finger. I stood in awe of the piece of jewellery for and few moments before wrapping my arms around Cody’s neck and hugging him.

‘It’s- It’s perfect! Thank you so much!’ I gasped, letting the tears that had formed in my eyes escape.

‘Perfect just like you.’ He said which really made me cry.

‘What have I done to make me deserve someone as amazing as you?’ I sobbed.

‘I could ask you the same thing.’ He said and I kissed him.

‘I love you so much!’ I said, half sobbing on his shoulder. Like a loser.

‘You’re my world.’

‘My universe.’ I replied. We walked along the beach for a while and stopped to sit on the sand by the water. For the first time ever, a few fans approached Cody. He smiled and stood up, asking if they wanted a picture and he treated them like princesses. I’d never noticed just how much he loves his fans before, it was heart-warming.

‘Can we have a picture with you too please?’ The girls said, talking to me.

‘Me?’ I said, a bit startled.

‘Yeah, we’re HUGE fans, we can’t wait to see your movie!’ They giggled.

‘Of course, wow! Thank you!’ I replied whilst jumping up. I stood whilst Cody took our picture and we gave them our autographs. They hugged us and walked off.

‘Did I really just get asked for my autograph?’ I said, finding it hard no to beam with happiness.

‘I believe you did, getting yourself a little fan base aye!’ He winked before taking my hand. We walked along the water’s edge for a while and the temperature was rapidly increasing. I couldn’t stop looking at the piece of jewellery on my finger, on my right hand of course. Although for a minute I was starting to think that it would be on my left hand. Cody laughed as I held my hand out to admire the ring.

‘What?’ I said, gently smacking his arm when he continued to laugh.

‘Just you.’ He giggled.

‘What do you mean?’ I half giggled.

‘You’re just perfect!’ He said, stopping and turning me to face him. I blushed and lent up to kiss him on the cheek. He turned his face at the last moment and kissed me on the lips.

‘Smooth!’ I giggled.

‘I love you.’ He said in my ear.

‘I love you more!’ I said, putting my arms around his waist. The sounds of paps and their cameras were all around us and I started to pull my head away from Cody’s chest but he pulled me back in.

‘Ignore them babe, they’ll just take a few photos then leave.’ He whispered and I hugged him. Surely enough, they all scuffled off.

‘Should we head back?’ Cody asked and I nodded. I intertwined my fingers in his and we walked hand in hand back to his house. Cody buzzed the gate and it opened.

‘Matt’s here!’  He said as we looked at Matt’s car.

‘Hmm, wonder why?’ I replied.

‘Guess we’ll soon find out!’ He laughed. He bent down to give me a piggy back and I didn’t object. I was quite tired, today seemed to be full of different events.

I laughed as he ran up the drive and fumbled for his keys to the front door. Just as he found them, the door opened and Angie smiled.

‘Hey guys. I think you should come in the kitchen.’ She said. Cody put me down and I looked at him. He shrugged and held my hand before walking through to the kitchen.

It was like the first time that we were seen together. There were various laptops showing different articles and new sites on Twitter. They we all entitled with the same words.

Cody and Hannah engaged.’
