Chapter Thirty - The End.

‘I mean, you don’t have to if you don’t want, I was just thinking…’

‘I’m sorry, I don’t.’ I said with the straightest face I could pull.

‘Oh, really? Okay.’ He said and his face sunk. He looked at his feet and picked at his nails and I snickered.

‘Of course I will you nugget!’ I said and I lent over to kiss him. He looked at me and laughed.

‘What?’ I questioned.

‘Just you.’ He replied.

‘Is that a good or bad thing?’ I giggled.

‘Good, really good! I love you!’ He said and he rested his forehead on mine.

‘I love you too. I had so much fun performing last night, thank you!’ I said and I kissed the tip of his nose.

‘You killed it! And Becky’s pretty sick, I might need your assistance tomorrow, if you wanted to?’ He asked.

‘Wow, I’d love to!’ I giggled. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 1am. We sat for another hour and I fell asleep on Cody’s shoulder with his head rested on mine.

I woke up confusedly and realised that I’d slept in the same position all night. I looked next to me and Cody was still sleeping with his head rested on mine. I moved and he started to stir.

‘Morning!’ I said as he stretched.

‘Morning!’ He yawned. Alli opened the door and Buddy ran through.

‘Hey Buddy!’ Cody said, holding out his arms. Buddy leaped into them and we all laughed.

‘We we’re all going to wake you guys, but we decided you were too cute!’ Alli giggled.

‘What time is it?’ Cody asked between kisses from Buddy.

‘Nearly 1pm!’ Alli said and both Cody and I started.

‘Are you serious?’ I said, more as a question of disbelief then an actual question.

‘Hey Cody, your show’s been moved forward an hour, it’s now at 3!’ Matt said, popping his head through a crack in the door and then disappearing again.

‘Man, I better get my stuff from Mel’s! I’ll see you in an hour?’ I said.

‘You will.’ Cody replied and he quickly kissed me.

‘See you later Buddy!’ I said, kissing the Maltese’s nose. He licked the end of mine and I laughed.

Mel’s was only down the road and I jogged back to hers. We’ve gone past knocking before we go into each other’s houses now and I opened the door and ran to her room. She was just applying her make up when I went through the door.

‘Hey!’ She said, getting up to hug me.

‘Hey! You’ll never guess what!?’ I said, stuffing everything into my case.

‘Hmm… I don’t know!’ She said, sitting back down to apply her eyeliner.

‘Cody invited me back on tour!’ I squealed and she drew eyeliner down her face.

‘NO WAY!’ She squeaked, viciously scrubbing her face to remove the overdrawn eyeliner.

‘Yes way!’ I said and she jumped up to hug me.

‘That’s incredible! Do you need help packing?’ She asked.

‘Oh my, yes! Thank you Mel!’ I said and we both made an attempt at folding my clothes before stuffing them into my suitcase. I quickly went in the shower and came out to see Mel had laid me out an outfit.

‘Thank you! But wait, this is your favourite top! I can’t take it!’ I said, taking the top and pushing it back in her hands.

‘No! I want  you to have it, something for you to keep with you on tour!’ She said and I hugged her, trying not to cry.

‘I miss you so much Mel!’ I whaled.

‘I miss you too, like crazy! But knowing how happy you are makes everything better, and besides, you and Cody are too cute! I actually thought about flying over there and forcing you two to make up!’ She giggled.

‘Flying!’ I said, jumping over to my suitcase. I searched for an envelope that was buried by clothes.

‘What?’ She asked, looking slightly horrified at me throwing our hard work back onto her bedroom floor.

‘Flying! I almost forgot! This is for you!’ I said, pushing the envelope into her hands. She opened it and held the tickets in her hand, looking at them in awe.

‘I thought that when the tour is over, it’d be nice for you to come to LA to see what life is like over there!’ I said quickly.

‘Oh Hannah, thank you.’ She said as a tear rolled down her cheek. She threw her arms round my neck and I hugged her really hard.

‘Love you Mel.’ I said, wiping the tears and now eyeliner from her face.

‘I love you too Hannah!’ She laughed. We gave up folding clothes and ended up stuffing things into my case. It would barely close but after sitting on it we managed to get the zip shut. I pulled the case down the stairs and gave Mel one last hug.

‘See you soon!’ I giggled and I left the house. I didn’t jog this time, with my suitcase to pull and everything. I pulled my case round the corner to the tour bus and Cody came and took it off of me and put it on the bus.

‘Thank you handsome.’ I said and I put my arms around his neck. He put his around my waist and we embraced for a moment.

‘Are you ready?’ Alli shouted to us and Cody gave me a piggy back to the bus.

‘Hey, I love your top!’ Alli said and I beamed.

‘Thank you.’ I replied.

‘Are you sure you want to come?’ Cody asked as we sat down.

‘One hundred per cent!’ I said and I kissed him.

‘I love you.’

‘I love you too.’ I said, and the bus drove off.
