Towering down was a column of stone and dirt. Atop that pillar spoke a man and woman. In an instant, their lives were bound to change in more ways than one. Guilt flooded their minds more than anything, knowing that it was their fault everyone was gone. Tumbling downward, silence rang on top of the rock.

Down and down and down. Finally though, a solid surface to land on. All the bones in your body would be broken. By some phenomenon, however, none at all did so. Blurred vision and lost hope. Even if survival was an option, there was no chance to regain surface level. If you were to look over the land afterwards, all the plants, trees, and homes would be turned to ash and cinder: but no one was left to see it but a trio, and that was for a split-second.

Survival wasn’t an option, unless you happened to be alongside the powered and gifted. In other words, a mage and a demigod. At last glance, the only ungifted being along for the ride took in the pain and suffering of every living thing to wield as her own. She was now certainly the last in her family. The girl closed her fearful eyes as the void threw them into another realm. This realm would soon be named, “The Second Yogworld.”

This new world was set tens of thousands of light-years away from the cinders they had left. Violet eyes stared upon the land, then the body encasing them moved only several steps to meet a river of bright blue liquid. He reached down and touched it. It ran threw his fingers and back to its origin. The man glanced back to his friend. She sensed his eyes on her face, opening her own optics to gaze into his.

The demigod was severely livid with this new realm, obtaining the realization that his world was gone forever. Everything he had achieved had been implanted in the stars, but the stars that beheld them had now burned up. Yogworld had changed, and not for the better. It was new, different, and had imaginary arms just waiting to wrap themselves around its prey. He looks around the area intently, with no other reason but to familiarize himself and plan for new living corridors.

Another tear dropped from the apprentice’s eye as she leaned into her best friend. No one was making any sounds: they were letting the new realm await them. Nothing appeared dangerous, but it reminded the red-haired maiden of home. Flowing hills, long grasslands, and a warm summer breeze surrounded her. She sniffled at the loss of her sister as she saw gray eyes in her mind. The most noticeable sound lingering was the river beside them.

Mages have a tendency to think more about their surroundings than others: and that was exactly what the brunette did. Where will we go? What will we do now? It’s only the three of us, he thought. Images of the other realm flooded his mind.

As for the old realm, everything fell to oblivion. Sjin died in the wreckage, along with everyone else who were trapped on the wrong side of the void. Soon, the world turned to peace, to let all those who perished rest in eternal peace. The gods of all would surely punish the soul responsible for taking so many lives, and it wouldn’t be as easy as sending him to Hell. Maybe they would choose him to be at service to all those who died as his hand.

And, to say the least, Leah and Duncan died together. The woman’s hand was laid firmly in the man’s, and her last word to him was, “Yes.”

Author's Final Note: (PLEASE READ)

Can't believe it's over. It's been a great adventure, guys. Thank you for giving that to me. For all of those of you (if that's how you English) who are like, "isn't there a sequel? You promised a sequel," I'm going to start that as soon as I go back through this book to edit and fix things to make them more up to date on my writing abilities. That will take a few days. I'm so excited to start the new book!

If you really liked this book, be sure to vote and comment your thoughts! What were your favorite moments? Who was your favorite character? For each person who comments really good feedback before I start the sequel, I'll give you a dedication within it. And finally, if you really liked this book, share it with your Yognaught friends!

I am once again the dreaded liar I hoped I would never have to be again. There will only be one sequel to this, only because there isn't anything to do with Duncan's side.

Thank you all so much for reading, and I look forward to your feedback!
