The next morning, Emma sluggishly got out of bed. She knew she had to go to school, but she really didn't want to go. So she decide to put on a pair of gray joggers, and a standard black t-shirt. After yesterdays events, she didn't want to see him.

Yes it hurt her to not see him, but it also hurt her to see him because she knew that she couldn't have him. She walked into the kitchen to notice an empty house. David probably stayed the night at the hospital again. She felt so bad for him, it had been a couple days since he last slept on a mattress.

Emma grabbed a granola bar out of the food cabinet, and ate it on her way to school. When she arrived, she didn't even bother to go to Killian's classroom. She went straight to her locker to put away her book bag.

As she was putting her books away in her locker, Killian walked up to her. He leaned his right shoulder against the locker that was next to her. "Hey, why didn't you come see me?" He asked.

"Because your crazy ex girlfriend won't let me!" Emma nearly shouted, throwing her arms in the air. Everyone looked over to them to see what was happening.

"Quiet down Emma, everyone is going to hear about us," Killian whispered.

"What "us?" There obviously isn't an "us" anymore so who cares if people know we were before?" Emma replied.

"I could lose my job," Killian whispered. Emma rolled her eyes, and slammed her locker shut.

"So now your job means more to you than I do?" Emma asks.

"That's not wha-" Killian tried saying before he got interrupted.

"No, you know what? I don't want to hear it! I'm done talking to you untill you figure out this whole thing with Milah. I'm tired of her getting in the way of everything! Do you think I just forgot about you sleeping with her? I'm tired of her ruining everything Killian, and I'm sorry but until you fix things with her, we're done," Emma said, raising her voice.

"Hey!" A random teacher from down the hall yelled. Emma quickly turned around to see an older man glaring at her.

"Emma Swan, I will see you in detention after school. You know better then to yell in the hallway," he said.

"Whatever," Emma whispered, and ran into the girls bathroom. She went into one of the stalls and closed the door. She stood there as her eyes filled with tears, and then she heard the door open.

"Emma?" She heard a feminine voice say. She quickly wiped away the tears that had soaked her face.

"Yeah?" She asked in a whisper.

"Are you okay?" The person replied.

"I'm fine," Emma said.

"You don't sound fine," the girl responded.

"I said I'm fine okay, just please leave me alone," Emma whimpered. She didn't want to be alone, she wanted to be with Killian. Having Milah around was just too hard for her to be with him though, she couldn't handle it.

She heard the door shut, and walked out of the stall. She looked in the mirror, and noticed that her eyes were red and puffy. The little bit of mascara she put on that morning was now under her eyes. She grabbed a paper towel out of the dispenser, and wetted it a little before wiping away the smeared makeup.

She threw away the paper towel and then looked outside of the bathroom. Everything was silent, and there wasn't a single person walking around. The bell must of rung without her realizing it. She decided within those two seconds that leaving was the best option.

She quickly ran down the hallway, and through the back doors of the high school. She kept running until she found herself in a quiet alley. She grabbed her phone out of her back pocket, and opened up Google maps to figure out where she was. She was only a little ways away from the school.
