"Emma?" Killian answered. "Emma what's wrong?" He asked. "I'm sorry. I really am." Emma said. "Sorry for what?" Killian asked. "I..." Emma started. "Emma, what's wrong?" He asked. "I'm sorry." Emma said. "Emma, whatever you did, you can tell me." Killian said.
"I slept..." Emma said. "You slept with Neal?!" Killian said. "Um, yes." Emma answered, full of regret. "Why?!" Killian asked. "I, I don't know." Emma answered. Killian sighed and hung up.
Emma called him back. "What, Emma?" He asked. "I'm sorry!" Emma said. "You slept with Milah!" Emma defended. "Emma, you're seventeen! You're still in high school!" Killian said. "I'm sorry!" Emma said. "At least I regret what I did! I'm doubting you are." Emma said. "Emma, I thought you needed help." Killian said. "Well, I got complete hell instead." Emma said, hanging up.
-Killian's P.O.V-
He couldn't believe her! He is an adult, he can make his own decisions! She can't judge him. You know what, he's going over there. *Gets in car and drives*.
-Emma's P.O.V-
That guy. She only did it to get back at him! He started his war...
-Third Person P.O.V-
Emma saw Killian's car pull up in the driveway. 'What the hell is he doing here?!' Emma thought. He got out of his car.
"Emma." He said, getting out of the car. Emma locked the door. "Go away." She said. "No." Killian said. "Go away!" Emma repeated. "Never." Killian said, sitting on the porch.
"I'll call the police." Emma threatened. Killian replied, "We both know that's a lie."
"Just, go away right now. Please." Emma asked. "No, Emma. Why did you call me?" He asked.
"To say sorry!" Emma defended. "Oh..." Killian said. Then he said, "You said you needed help!" Emma responded, "Not anymore." Killian sighed. "Goodbye, Mr. Jones." Emma said, leaning towards the door. "Goodbye, Miss Swan." Killian said, walking away.
-Next Day-
"Hi Neal." Emma said. "Hey, Emma! What's going on, Em?" Neal asked. "Nothing." Emma answered, angrily.
"Come on, Em. Talk to me." Neal said."No." Emma said strictly.
-A week Later-
A school dance was coming up. Great. "Hi Emma." Neal said. "Hi." Emma said. "Want to go to the dance with me?" Neal asked. "Sure." Emma said, forcing a smile. 'Great...' she thought.
"Emma." Killian said, passing her in the hall. Emma looked down. "Emma!" He said, louder. "I just wanted to let you know I have to chaperone the semi-formal dance." Killian said. "Oh, great." Emma said.
-The night of the Dance-
Emma was waiting by the school door for Neal. She was wearing a pink dress, going down finger tip length. She was wearing white sandals and her hair was half up half down. She honestly had no idea why she actually tried to look nice.
Neal was already twenty minutes late. Emma was waiting in the hallway now. She decided that Neal bailed on her. On her way out, Killian came up to her and asked, "Where are you going?" "Home." Emma answered.
"Why?" Killian asked. "Neal bailed on me." Emma said. "You came here with Neal?" He asked. "Well, Neal didn't show up, so..." Emma said. "I'm sorry." Killian said. "But don't let that ruin any possible fun... Go into the dance." He urged. "I don't feel like it." Emma said. "Come on it will be fun if you let it." "Fine." Emma said, walking in.
Emma didn't have anyone to hang out with, though. No friends, no date, nothing.
A couple other chaperones noticed Emma, but didn't say anything. Ruby came over to her for a short period of time. "Hey, Emma." She said. "Hi Ruby." Emma said. "Want to hang out with us?" She asked. "Sure." Emma said.
She walked over to Belle, Zelena, and Regina with Ruby. "Love your dress!" Belle said. "Thanks, you too." Emma said. "Did you guys bring dates?" Emma asked. "Of course!" Zelena said. "I brought August, Ruby brought Victor, Belle brought Rumple, and Regina brought Robin."
"Did you bring anyone?" They asked Emma. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." Emma said, avoiding the question. When she got back, everyone was dancing. Since she didn't have anyone to dance with, she decided to hide in the corner.
By the time she got halfway through the semi formal, Emma decided she had enough. She was going home.
She was walking out and Killian caught up to her. "Emma?" Killian called out. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Home. I've had enough." Emma answered. "Don't go!" Killian said. "Why not?" Emma asked.
Killian drags Emma into a room and closes the door. "Why won't you let me leave?" Emma asked. "Well..." Killian started. "Well what?" Emma asked. "Well, for starters you look too pretty right now to not be in there dancing with everyone else." Killian said.
"And you can't let Neal ruin your fun." Killian said. "You're right, but I don't exactly fit it..." Emma said. "Come on, one last try." Killian said. "One last time." Emma said. Killian smiled.
"Well, are you going to dance?" Killian asked her, over by the punch bowl. "I told you, I don't fit in." Emma said, getting punch. "Oh come on." Killian said. "No. Not this one. You convinced me to come back in here, but I'm not dancing." Emma said. "What a shame." Killian said.
A few minutes later, Neal showed up. "Neal, you're late." Emma said. "I know, I'm sorry." He said. Emma rolled her eyes.
"Come on, let's dance." Neal said. "Okay." Emma said. Neal took Emma's hand and started dancing with her. Whenever Emma looked at Killian, there was a hint of jealousy in his eyes.
Later in the night, Neal started dancing with other people, leaving Emma again. Emma felt alone, so she decided she stayed long enough.
She was in the parking lot, and Killian followed her. "Emma? Are you okay?" He asked her. "Yeah, I'm fine." She said. "No, you're not." Killian said, turning her around. "Why do you care?" She asked. "I told you before, I love you." Killian said. Again, Emma was silent.
"Why did you sleep with Neal?" Killian asked her. "I thought I'd lost you to Milah, so I needed to get my mind off of it. Neal was the easiest." Emma said.
"Why'd you need to get your mind off of it?" Killian asked. Emma sighed. "Because I love you too! Okay?!" Emma shouted. Killian smiled, and hugged her.
"Well, since this dance was a bit of a bust, want to go to my house?" Killian asked. "Sure." Emma said.
-Killians House-
Killian turned on the radio and pulled Emma in close. "You look absolutely beautiful." Killian said. Emma smiled.
They 'danced' for a little while, then Killian walked Emma home. "Thank you, for cheering me up." Emma said.
"See you tomorrow." Killian said.
