Chapter 4: Welcome to the Desert

Jake and Jay explain the basics to Greed.

Greed: "I see."

Jay: "You see? We have to kill the rulers or everyone will be dead instead."

Jake: "With my father being the main source."

Greed: "So you need to cross the desert to get to the nearby town of Wraith."

Jay: "Got any tips?"

Greed: "Bring a crap ton of water."

Jake: "Then let's go get a shit ton of water and go to Wraith!"

Greed: "Water isn't cheap."

Jake: "Just give me a few canteens."

Greed gives Jake 4 large canteens.

Jake: "Alright, now to draw my sword...."

Jake draws his blade.

Jake".... put some ice in..."

Jake places a perfect sized chunk of ice in each canteen.

Jake: ".... then melt it."

Jake switches to gauntlet form and heats up each canteen using light flames. melting the ice, while still being cold.

Jake: "We have an unlimited source of water right here."

Greed: "That is a very versatile blade."

Jake: "I did kind of inherit this. (in head) I should zip it."

Jay: "Enough bathing in your ego Jake, we should get going before I punch you."

Greed: "I see your friend is very, 'get to the point,' person."

Jay: "I am a bounty hunter who can do this."

Jay picks up his daggers with his telekinesis.

Jay: "Now let's go."

Jade and Ruby run up to Jake and Jay as they begin to leave the palace.

Jade: "Don't forget us!"

Jay: "Are you two actually traverse across this desert with us?"

Ruby: "We still have our father to save and if the rulers are in this world ending scheme, you need help!"

Jade grabs two of Jake's canteens.

Jade: "So shut your mouths and let's go or else..."

Jade pulls out a god dam battle axe.

Jade: "I'll make you."

Jake: "You have a passion to take these guys down."

Jade: "More than ever now!"

Jade puts away the axe.

Jade: "Mom! We'll be back after we kick all of those assholes sitting calmly on their thrones thinking about this plan!"

Greed: "Think you two can handle this?"

Jade: "I can pick up 3 ton boulders with ease and I have dad's powers."

Ruby: "Mom don't worry, we are two out of 4 3rd gen sins who haven't been captured and can fight."

Greed: "If you two say so."

The 4 step outside of town, right after picking up a map and start setting off for Wraith and stop at sundown to set up camp.

Jay: "Now for you two to be hit with Jake's cooking."

Jake: "I understand you like my cooking, but it can't be that good."
