Chapter 20: Envoy of Desires

Alcionus its upon his throne with Agony standing guard by the throne room door.

King Alcionus: "(sighing) When will these people succumb to the desert?"

Agony: "Sir I understand your frustration with the people, but they can change."

King Alcionus: "We just wander the desert and survive, what's the point?"

A loud crash is heard just outside the door.

King Alcionus: "What's happening?!"

The doors are slammed open.

???: "You wish to free yourselves from the stain of humanity."

A black winged man enters the room.

Agony: "Who are you?!"

Agony attempts to pin down the man, but the man repels him in one backhand.

Man: "If your guards had just let me in this wouldn't be happening."

The man stands before the king.

Lucifer: "I am Lucifer Ayleaus of Toriph King Alcionus."

King Alcionus: "Toriph? Some kind of gang or something?"

Lucifer: "No, a lush land that was once connected to Delas. I have come here to propose an offer, one that will assist in your desire to be freed of the parasites known as humans."

Agony is regaining balance.

King Alcionus: "I can be freed from these imbeciles?!"

Lucifer holds out his hand.

Lucifer: "All I require is cooperation."

Agony: "My king, don't listen to this strange man!"

Agony begins to rush up to Alcionus.

King Alcionus: "I'll accept your offer, just explain my end."

Lucifer pulls out a small knife.

Lucifer: "First a little experiment."

Lucifer slits open his finger and Alcionus's arm.

Lucifer: "My demonic blood should ensure that you can fight back from future issues."

Some of Lucifer's blood mixes into Alcionus's bloodstream, causing him to spaz out on the floor.

Agony: "My liege!"

Then it seems the knowledge etched into Lucifer's mind enters his own, as if the truth was being poured into his mind. The spazzing stops as he stands, unveiling a blood red fire in his eyes.

King Alcionus: "You will obey Agony."

A small piece of the fire enters Agony's eyes, then it appears Agony has lost all control over himself.

Lucifer: "So supernatural abilities can appear in those not connected to the Original One when exposed to his blood. Helpful."

King Alcionus: "I know everything."

Alcionus holds his arms out and stares towards the ceiling."

King Alcionus: "The blood of the eight sins will be yours soon enough, but I recommend waiting for Greed and Agony."

Lucifer: "Explain."

Alcionus drops his arms.

King Alcionus: "For the blood is stronger between the twin daughters."

Lucifer opens a rift.

Lucifer: "I will return in due  time, surely you know."

King Alcionus: "I'll also capture the next generation with my abilities or my men. You'll certainly have six by the time you return."

Lucifer steps through.

Lucifer: "Do not disappoint."

Lucifer vanishes.

King Alcionus: "How can I? My power will ensure it."

Alcionus fixes his clothes.

Alcionus: "Good thing a meeting is scheduled for later today. Follow Agony."

The two leave the room.
