Between 3: Sins of a King

Chapter 18: True Pain

Agony moves at blistering speed to try and confuse our heroes.

Jay: "Dam he's fast."

Agony gets behind Jay.

Agony: "Witness true pain."

Agony attempts to stab Jay in the back with a knife.

Jay: "Think I wouldn't expect that?"

Jay dodges the knife.

Agony: "Yes."

Agony slashes the knife in the direction of that Jay dodged.

Jay: "Nice."

Jay manages to dodge with a cut in his coat.

Jade: "Don't toy with him!"

Agony begins to go after Sam.

Sam: "Fuck."

Alyssa: "(taunting) How about me or are you scared of me?"

Agony: "Looks like one accepts her fate."

Agony begins to slash his knife at Alyssa, but she dodges nearly every slice.

Agony: "Enough."

Agony slashes three times as fast, scarring Alyssa.

Sam: "No!"

Agony stabs Sam in the back.

Ruby: "We're losing members fast."

Sam: "(in pain) Infinite Electrocution.."

Jake: "Huh?"

Sam: "Use it."

Jake switches to bow form and begins to charge lightning.

Jake: "Infinite..."

Jake's arrow reaches its peak.

Jake: "... Electrocution!"

Agony dodges the massive bolt of lightning.

Agony: "Pitiful."

Jade: "I think not!"

Agony turns around to find that Jade absorbed the blast.

Jade: "Counter Beatdown!"

Jade smashes Agony into the air, slicing his arm off with her broadsword, slams the rest of him to the ground with the morning star and leaves behind several scars all over Agony with her axe.

Jay: "That's fucking brutal, especially since that's your dad."

King Alcionus looks upon this event.

King Alcionus: "I'm not letting you fall here."

Alcionus's eyes glow red as Agony repels away the several scars, reattaches his arm, and fixes any bones from impact.

Jade: "His ability is counter! We're fucking idiots!"

King Alcionus: "(laughing) You can't beat him! Since I'm right here, I can control him much better than the other sins and rulers!"

Jake: "This isn't good, Jade may have the same ability, but she needs big hits to deal anything substantial."

All the damage Agony received goes right back to Jade, including her arm chopped off.

Jade: "(bawling) Fuck!"

Ruby: "Jade!"

Jake switches to whip form and rushes to the injured.

Jake: "You guys hold them back. I'll take care of the injured."

Jay\ Ruby: "On it."

As Jay and Ruby fend off Agony, Jade says an important piece of advice.

Jade: "The only way to beat Agony, is to take out Alcionus."

Jake wraps up healing Sam and reattaches Jade's arm.

Jake: "How are we gonna get to Alcionus with Agony blocking him off?"

Jake wraps up Jade and begins on Alyssa.

Jade: "You five stall Agony, I'll take down Alcionus."

Alyssa and Sam get back on their feet.

Sam: "I see your plan."

Jake: "I get it."

Jade rushes toward Alcionus.

Agony: "No you don't."

Agony attempts to get to Jade.

Jay: "You have us to deal with."

Agony is stopped by the others.

Jade: "If I take care of you, this fight will be over!"

King Alcionus: "Such a shame. I guess I have to get my suit a little dirty."
