Chapter 19: King of Agony

Jade: "How about you stop complaining about your suit and fight!"

King Alcionus: "How about you realize who you are talking too? You are the next gen Agony."

Jade whips out her hammer.

Jade: "Jake and Jay explained just what you're planning. I'm not letting you erase the world I believe in."

Alcionus draws twin blades.

King Alcionus: "Imperfection is what you're fighting for."

Jade: "You're planning to commit mass murder of an entire world, ending millions of lives using our own blood."

Jade attempts to bash Alcionus's skull in, but he blocks it with his blades.

King Alcionus: "Anything is worth perfection."

Jade attempts to snap the swords in two.

King Alcionus: "Pitiful. These blades are forged from a metal from Drakos. Nothing in Delas could even dream about breaking them."

Alcionus repels Jade's hammer.

Jade: "If my hammer won't do something, my sword will!"

Jade drops the hammer and draws her broadsword.

King Alcionus: "You don't give up."

Jade: "How could I? You put all of us on wanted posters, used our own parents against our will, and we now know that you're using our blood to kill everything. I won't accept that!"

King Alcionus: "Imperfections make up Reith."

Alcionus prepares his blades to strike.

King Alcionus: "Farewell."

Meanwhile with the others...

Jay: "Can't dodge forever Jade!"

Jade: "I'm doing what I can!"

Agony attempts to land a blow on Jay and barely misses.

Ruby: "Please hurry!"

King Alcionus: "Pitiful."

Alcionus walks up to Jade to give the fatal blow.

Jake: "No you don't!"

Jake reveals his wings.

Jake: "Hell Render!"

Jake creates a massive wall of ice to block Agony and punches Alcionus into a wall.

Jade: "(in pain) Thanks."

Jake rapidly heals Jade's wounds and puts his wings back in his shirt.

Jake: "Heh."

Jakes collapses onto the floor.

King Alcionus: "(brushing off dust) Lucky hit."

Alcionus stands up from where Jake punched him.

Jade: "(pissed) It wasn't luck."

Alcionus prepares another sword swing.

Ruby: "(muffled) Stop wasting time!"

Jay: "(muffled) How about all of you stop talking and stall Agony!"

Alyssa: "(muffled) We need as much hope as we can get!"

Sam: "(muffled) Jade is our last shot. We need to buy as much time as we can."

Jade: "(crying) Thanks."

Jade grabs her hammer and drops the rest of her weapons.

King Alcionus: "(calmly) Do you honestly think that you can beat me with just that toy?"
