Chapter 6: This'll Hurt

Jade: "That was a good sleep. How are you all?"

Jay: "Jake, just your lazy ass out of bed."

Jake: "(groaning) Five more minutes."

Ruby: "How about no? We have plans today."

Ruby yanks Jake out of bed.

Jake: "Fine."

Jake begins to stand.

Jay: "Really? You know about our plans."

Jake: "One sec..."

Jake switches Heaven's Hope in to gauntlet form and sets his face on fire, then puts it out with ice.

Jake: "Now I am up. (heals burn marks)

Jay: "Oh my fucking god."

Jake: "Sorry. (in head) We need to keep calm and work together if Reith is going to keep on living."

Jade: "Enough of this shit, let's go get breakfast, I'm hungry!"

Jay: "Alright let's go."

The 4 walk into the dining area.

Jay: "(sarcastically) Nice, doesn't look like a cave in the wall for a first."

Jade: "Why haven't I slugged you in the face yet?"

Jay: "Beats me."

Ruby: "Can we please stop making each other want to beat each other to a bloody pulp?"

Jake: "I agree, if we're going to save Delas and the rest of Reith, we need to get along."

Jay: "Geez Jake, I've never seen you so pissed."

Jake: "If you two keep this up, I'll make sure you get along."

Jade: "Alright, although I am questioning how you plan on doing that."

Jake: "If you two get in one more fight I'll show you."

Jay: "Alright."

The sit down and eat some food and head outside.

Jake: "I just hope you two can keep it together in the palace."

Jay: "Just cool your jets Mr. Sleepyhead."

Jake sighes.

Ruby: "I hope so, you make me want to see what happens."

Jade: "That hurts."

Jay decapitates both guards.

Jay: "Less talking more doing."

As the 4 walk throughout the palace killing guards meanwhile.....

King Gael: "Lock my wife in the dungeon with the Marcos boy. The intruders must not get to my heir."

Guards: "Yes sir!"

Queen Gael: "Very well."

The guards carry off the pregnant queen.

King Gael: "And Wrath I need you to guard the entrance to the throne room if they arrive."

A pebble explodes.

Wrath: "Yes sir."

Narrator: "Back to our heroes."

Jay: "This has been way too easy, even for these guys. Rolil was far more challenging."

Jade grits her teeth.

Jade: "(deep breath) If you say so."

A explosion goes off.

Wrath: "I've been waiting."

Jay: "An explosive ability?"

Ruby: "He can make anything he touches into a remote bomb."

Jake draws his blade.

Jake: "This'll hurt won't it?"

Jade: "Get this kid a prize."

Several explosions go off.

Wrath: "Enough wasting my time."

Jay telekinetically uses his daggers to slice and dice Wrath's right arm.

Jay: "Don't put me in that."

Ruby managed to dissolve into the shadows and sneak attacked Wrath from behind.

Wrath: "Enjoy your little games."

Wrath triggers an explosion behind him and sending Ruby flying.

Jade: "He turned everything here into a bomb!"

Wrath: "Very impressive for a child."

Jake switches to bow form and narrowly misses his shot with an explosion of lightning up against the throne room door.

Jake: "That is not good."

Wrath: "A bow that generates lightning, very interesting Alexandris."

Jake: "That means that we are doing the good thing here."

Wrath sets off an explosion behind Jade, with Jade defending herself with a counter.

Wrath: "I am the only guardian doing this of my own free will."

Jade: "Is Gael the big one in charge then?"

Wrath: "No."

Jake switches to staff form and blasts bullet like pebbles that explode upon contact with Wrath.

Jake: "A looks like they go off when enough force hits it."

Jay: "Looks like you can get serious."

Jay telekinetically throws some rocks at the ground for a successful test.

Jay: "He made every rock on this floor a bomb."

Wrath: "You brats catch on quickly."

Jade: "That explains why the door didn't explode and why he's only been using rocks."

Wrath is promptly ended by his own explosives, since if he set off one, a whole chain reaction would go off and crumble the palace.

Jay: "That was just sad."

Ruby stands and opens the door.

King Gael: "Must I feel the Agony of defeat?"

Jay sends an explosive bullet straight at Gael's heart.

Jay: "Yes."

Several guards that remained begged for their lives.

Jade: "Free 3rd generation Sin Marcos Icor."

Guards: "V-Very well."

Ruby: "And anyone else."

The guards return with the queen and a 14 year old with wild brown hair.

Marcos: "Jade and Ruby?!"

Jade: "Guess we really didn't change much during these past 8 years."

Marcos: "Thank you! I was caught day one of the order!"

Queen Gael: "Have you freed us from that... thing?"

Jay points to the corpses.

Jay: "Yep, but the last Wrath got in our way along with guards. Their lives couldn't be saved."

Marcos: "Thank you for killing that bastard of a father. Killing my mom and locking me in a cell."

Jake: "I know the feeling."

Ruby: "He performed that upon free will."

Marcos: "All the more reason."

Queen Gael: "I heard everything from him. Heading for Lustaicious?"

Jade: "Right about now."

Jay: "Delas won't save itself."

Marcos: "Wish you could stay."

Jade: "Just practice that explosive ability."

Marcos: "Alright."

The 4 step outside the palace.
