It's currently six-fifty-seven in the morning and there are three minutes until my stupid alarm goes off. Whenever I wake up before my alarm, I just lay here thinking instead of getting up and getting ready.

The only thought that pops into my head is a neon green sign that reads 'HUNTER STONE'.

His stupid name, his stupid face, his stupid body, his stupid... EVERYTHING. Everything about him is really stupid. And I really hate him.

I hate his muscles, I hate his stupid abs, I hate his ugly smile, I hate his stupid hair, I hate his stupid, stupid face. And I really just really hate his everything.

My head snaps towards my phone when it goes off in my ear. I quickly shut it off and roll out of my bed.

I take a quick shower and change into a loose white shirt, black jeans, and my black combat boots. When I get out of my bathroom, I find Lydia laying under the covers and her eyes are closed.

I raise a suspicious brow at her as I walk over to the bed. "Lydia?" She doesn't move. "Lydia?" I shake her shoulder.

Again she doesn't move. What the hell?

This is my best friend, everyone. The girl who comes over and sleeps in your bed while you're getting ready for school.

I shake my head at her before going back into the ensuite and fixing my hair. I blow dry my hair and let it curl down my back.

When I get back into my room, Lydia is leaning up with a sleepy dazed look. Her eyes flicker over to me and she smiles lazily. "Hey, babe."

"Hi." I laugh while walking over to her. I yank the covers off of her and she whines.

"No! I'm cold!" She cries.

"Then change into a pair jeans," I tell her and her eyes wander towards the closet.

"But these shorts go well with my top." She's wearing a pink crop top and light blue shorts.

"Put on some light blue jean then," I suggest. She crawls out and over towards the closet. "And put a jacket on too. It's cold out."

I grab my bag off my desk and turn back to her. She's buttoning the jeans and sliding her sandals back on. She then slides on a jean jacket and twirls.

Lydia fixes her halo bun and smiles widely. "You look flawless," she compliments me.

"Thanks."

"Any reason you're all dressed up? A special boy, maybe? A boy who just happened to move in next door?"

I narrow my eyes at her, "Lydia, shut up. I'm dressed up for you because you like when I dress nicely. You know how I feel about him."

Her teasing mood instantly fades, "I know, babe. I hate him too. Not as much as you do, of course. But I hate him too."

I smile slightly and she grabs my hand. "Aren't you going to compliment my look?" She asks, obviously hurt.

I roll my eyes while chuckling, "You look absolutely gorgeous." I state with a nod.

"Thank you, my love." She grins widely. "Let's go to school."

A groan slips out of my mouth but she ignores it and pulls me downstairs. When we get into the kitchen, we find my mom is sitting at the counter, sipping from her coffee cup.

"Oh, hey." She smiles over at us.

"Morning, Mom." I smile at her.

"Morning, Ms. T." Lydia kisses her cheek and takes a sip of her coffee.

My mom smiles at Lydia and snatches her cup back. "Shouldn't you girls be going to school?"

"Shouldn't you be at work?" I retort, my brow quirking amusedly.

"I'm off until four. Cam's school is doing a Thanksgiving food drive and I'm going to help out." She states.

"That's cool, Ms. T," Lydia tells her, making her smile.

"Come on." I nod my head towards the door. "We have to go. I need to be early for Chem. We have a test and I need to study a little more."

"Nerd!" Lydia sings as she leans off of my mom's chair.

"Let's go." I draw out. She follows me outside and we stop on the porch. My teeth grit automatically and I hear Lydia gasp.

Hunter is walking down his driveway to his stupid black car. He's wearing a black leather jacket, typical, and dark jeans. His hair is styled like he used to style it, smoothed over his forehead perfectly.

Stupid idiot.

He must sense us watching him because when he gets to his car, he looks our way over his shoulder. I snap back into reality and continue walking down the steps. Lydia follows me, not taking her eyes off of Hunter.

Lydia!

My eyes flicker over to his accidentally and mine meet his. My fingers fumble with my car keys, but I finally get it unlocked. We break eye contact when I get into the car.

Lydia quickly gets in after me and slams her door shut. "God... He looks like... a god." She mutters.

"Lydia-"

"Sorry." She inhales through her teeth. "But he looks exactly like he did when he left. Except he's much hotter."

I ignore her and start the car. The drive to school is quiet, and we luckily got onto the road before Hunter did. When we get to school, Lydia wanders off to class and leaves me alone at my locker.

I rummage through all of my books, searching for my English textbook. "Hey, Bella."

I look to my left to see Vanessa Harris standing next to my locker with a bright smile. She hasn't spoken a word to me since the beginning of junior year. "What?" I raise a brow, trying to ignore her presence.

"I just wanted to see how you've been." She smiles innocently.

I blink slowly, "Vanessa, what do you want? I know you don't care how I've been, or what I've been doing. So, what do you want?"

She bites down on her bottom lip before her smile comes back. "Okay! So I know for a fact-"

"For a fact? Does that mean you're stalking me?"

"No! Of course not! Not in person! God, no." She shakes her head.

Not in person?

"Anyways, I know that you know that Hunter is back." She states and a shiver runs down my spine.

I look away from her and back into my locker. "Yeah, I know. So what?"

"So... Maybe the group can-"

"Vanessa." I slam my locker, cutting her off mid-sentence. Her eyes widen and her face pales. "Just because Stone is back, does not mean that I will ever be friends with any of you ever again. Now get the hell away from me and stay away from me."

Before she can say anything, I walk away from her. I just need to get through this stupid day without seeing him.

I walk into English and sit down at my desk by the window. Class starts normally and nothing at all goes wrong. After English, I have creative writing, which goes smoothly.

As I walk into the cafeteria, my phone vibrates in my pocket. I have a text message from my mom saying that she will be working after school and that Cam will be with her.

I slide into an empty booth and take out my book. Lydia joins me a few minutes later with a giant smile.

"What!" I groan, already knowing she's going ask me for something.

"Can your best friend not be normally giddy?" She puts her hand over her heart while raising a brow.

"You're rarely giddy. So you're either going to ask me for something or something happened." I sigh. "Which is it?"

"Vanessa talked to me today." She says happily.
