For the rest of the week, Lydia and I didn't say a word to each other. We didn't look each other's way, we didn't sit with each other at lunch. I wonder how long this will go on for...

Hunter hasn't bothered looking at or even talking to me. He's shown up to chemistry once and when he sat next to me at the lab station, he sat as far away as he could.

It was Saturday morning and since my alarms are always waking me up at seven, that is the time I end up waking up at. I walk downstairs, still in my pajamas, and into the kitchen. It's empty and I remember that it's early.

Cam stayed the night at his friend's house last night and mom is either asleep or at work.

I grab the box of pancake mix from the cupboard and the milk jug from the fridge. I make pancakes and it takes me around fifteen minutes. When I've finished, I sit down at the counter and eat.

The day goes by normally. I clean the house, playing my music loudly. For some reason, I hoped that Hunter would break in again and turn it off while I was busy with something else. But he didn't.

I can't believe that he actually listened to me when I told him to stay away from me. He had never listened to me before. Why'd he listen to me this time?

Around three o'clock there's a knock at the door. I shut off my music and walk to the front door. I open it slowly and my eyes narrow at the bubbly blonde standing on my door step.

"How many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone until it sticks?" I raise a brow.

"Hi to you too, Bella." Vanessa smiles.

"What do you want?" Even though I literally have nothing to do right now, she's wasting my time.

"Well, I was just wanted to ask you something." She states with a firm nod. People are asking me way too many questions this week.

"What?"

"What did you say to Hunter?"

I furrow my brows at her. "What do you mean?"

"He's been upset all week. He was fine last Friday. Until he took you and Lydia home from the party. So you had to have said something to piss him off."

"And why do you think it was me who pissed him off?"

"Because I asked him who pissed him off."

"And he said it was me?" I cross my arms over my chest.

"No, not exactly. We were in his room at the time, Blake, Hunter and I, and when I asked him who pissed you off, he looked out the window towards yours. But then he said no one pissed him off."

"And you're suspecting it's me because he looked at my window?"

As she's about to respond she realizes what she's talking about is absolutely dumb. "Did you at least say something to him?" She asks desperately.

"I've said a lot of things to Hunter Stone." I nod. "A lot of things to piss him off."

"Isabella-"

"Vanessa, I told him the exact same thing I told you. I told him to stay away from me. And he actually listened."

"But I just don't understand how that would make him upset." She frowns genuinely.

"Maybe because he went three years without talking to me." She looks up at me and furrows her brows. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Because Hunter didn't talk to me either."

"But he did Blake." I nod knowingly.

"No," she shakes her head, "he didn't talk to no one."
