I scrunch up my nose at the disgusting smell of nail polish. We were currently sitting in Heidi's nail salon, in pedicure chairs. They lady doing my feet keeps purposefully running her long nails on the bottom of my feet, making me jump. Lydia continues laughing on my right whereas Vanessa was on her phone on my left.
When we were done at the salon, where Lydia paid for all my expenses because I made it very, very known that I didn't want to go, we head to the mall for our hair appointments. "Why can't we just do our hair at home?" I ask Lydia. "So much money is being wasted today."
"It's not being wasted." She claims. "Like That ten dollars I gave to Jake. The look on Hunter's face was priceless." They all break into hysterics.
"You never paid him, Lydia." I remind her and her eyes widen.
"Oh, shit."
I shake my head slowly. "Why can't you just curl my hair instead of paying forty dollars for someone else to curl it?"
"Because... I don't know. To make more memories?" She shouts.
"We'd make my memories at my place because they haven't been over in months!" I point back at Vanessa and Jade.
"Well, actually I came over a couple weeks ago, but that doesn't count." Vanessa points out and I flip her off.
"Cancel the appointments."
"No."
"Lydia! You're wasting your money." I tell her. "At least cancel my appointment and I'll do my own hair."
"Bella, come on!"
"Cancel my appointment. I don't need it." I look over at her and she rolls her eyes.
"Fine," she turns around to face the girls, "you cool with me doing your hair?"
Both of their eyes are wide, "Yes." They nod.
Good...
When we arrive at my house, it's twelve o'clock. Which means we have six hours to get ready. "I can't believe Jake actually did that. Let's hope Hunter didn't kill him after we left." Vanessa states as I unlock the front door.
"Let's hope he doesn't kill Charlie tonight." Lydia adds.
I open the door for them and everyone walks in. "Bella?" My mom leans up off the couch as she stares at the four of us.
It's been almost two years since Vanessa and Jade have stepped foot in my house. And now... My mom's long lost children, that aren't really hers, have come home!
"What's going on?" She asks as she furrows her brows at Vanessa and Jade.
"Um... We decided that we were going to get ready for the ball here. If that's cool." I say quietly.
"Of course it's okay." She stands up and goes to hug Vanessa.
"Hi, Ms. T." Vanessa smiles widely as she holds onto my mom. Jade does the same and I look up at the stairs when I see Cam standing on the top step with wide eyes.
Everyone goes quiet as they look up at him. "Oh, no!" He screams, causing us all to jump. "There's more of you demons!?" He points at Lydia, who smirks widely at him.
"Hey, Cammy," She takes a step towards him and his eyes go wide. "I got a new neon pink lipstick I want to try out... Want to be... MY MALE MODEL!?" She then sprints up the stairs and he screams a high-pitched girlie scream. He runs towards his room and we hear it slam shut. "Hallway: All clear!" Lydia shouts and I hear her open my bedroom door.
