Blake pulls onto mine and Hunter's street and I begin to gather up the presents Vanessa bought for Hunter and I. He comes to a stop in front of Hunter's house and both Hunter and I jump out.
"Bye guys." I smile widely and Vanessa grabs my hand.
"New Years! Chris's house! Don't forget it!" She points at Hunter and I, causing me to laugh.
"Got it." I nod before hugging her. When I step back, Hunter places his hand on my waist and we watch as Blake drives away, Lydia leaning out the window and waving at us like a maniac.
"Well, that was fun." Hunter smiles down at me. I nod slowly before stepping up on my tiptoes, cupping his cheeks, and pulling him down so that I could kiss him again. He quickly obliges and kisses me back.
I wrap my arms around his neck as his go around my waist and he pulls me impossibly close. My lips move gently against his and my hands trail up into his hair.
"B-Bella?"
I pull away from Hunter when I hear someone call my name. I look over at my house to see Tiana standing on the porch. My eyes widen, causing Hunter's brows to furrow and he turns to see what I'm staring at.
"Bells," Hunter's hands tighten on my waist and I grip his shoulders.
"Bella." She calls for me again.
My eyes narrow and I stare at her in disbelief. "Do you have your keys on you?" I whisper, not taking my eyes off of her.
"Always. Why?"
"C-Can you we go somewhere?" I look up into his green eyes. He stares down at me with furrowed brows. "Just me and you."
His lips part and he nods slowly, pulling us towards his car. I remove my hands from his shoulders and he grabs my hand.
"Bella!" Tiana shouts and I look back at her with wide eyes. Hunter drops my hand and I get into the front seat.
Tiana steps off the front porch and I look over at her. "Let's go." I tell Hunter and he glances over at me. He starts the car and quickly speeds down the road.
After a few minutes of silence, Hunter grabs my hand and I look over at him. "Where are we going?" He asks softly.
"Anywhere but my place. Or yours." I shake my head. "She'll be searching all over for me now, so I can't go to Lydia's."
"We can stay at a hotel." He smirks and I look over at him with wide eyes.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Hunt. We've had two good days."
"And those two days have been good." He continues to smirk. "Anyways, the last time we were in a hotel room, I behaved myself."
"Yeah, and then the next day you kissed me at Ted's house."
He bites down on his bottom lip to hide his smile. "I think we should stay at a hotel." He nods eagerly and I laugh.
"If we stop at Lydia's, I can get my bag. I have money in it."
"No way, my idea: I pay."
"Hunter!" I groan and he squeezes my hand.
"Merry Christmas." He puckers his lips at me. I roll my eyes and cover his mouth with my hand.
"Merry Christmas, you idiot." I smile. After a couple of minutes of silence, I lean my head against the window and fall asleep.
.
.
"Bella. Bells. Bells!" I feel someone poking my side and I growl loudly.
"Leave me alone."
