"Nipotina, sit down!"
"Bev, stop eating! We haven't said grace yet!"
"Cameron! Quit spitting water everywhere!"
Nonna shouts constantly and I lean against the back of my chair. Linda's sitting on my left, staring at her mother-in-law with wide eyes.
"Everyone hold hands!" She insists and I glance over at my little brother sitting on my right. He grabs my hand quickly and takes my fathers hand in his free one.
Linda takes my hand and tilts her head down. Nonna says grace before we all begin eating. "Who would like talking about their day first?" She asks and everyone looks around the table.
I look over at dad to catch his reaction to all of this. He's staring at Nonna with slightly widen eyes before looking down at his full plate. "Cameron, why don't you start?"
Cam's eyes shoot out of his head and his spits out his water. Beverly bursts out laughing, causing everyone to do the same.
"Ah!" She hisses at Cam before patting his face down with a napkin. "You're so messy!"
Cam continues laughing while trying to push Nonna's hands away from him. "My day way fine." He assures her.
"What about you, Isabella?" Nonna's eyes flicker over to me.
"It was okay. I had a nice time shopping with Linda." I smile towards Linda and she returns it with her own.
"What did you end up buying my mom?" Cam asks.
"A necklace." Linda and I say at the same time.
I glance over at my dad again to see his brows furrowed. His eyes meet mine and he raises a brow. I shrug slowly before looking back at Nonna.
"How was your flight?" I ask.
"It was fine." She mumbles and takes a sip of her water. "I was sat next to a mother with her young boy, who wouldn't stop running around. Reminded me of you, Ted." She smirks, causing everyone to laugh.
Nonna begins telling us stories of dad when he was little. Like always, Cam and Beverly laugh their asses off. Linda pays close attention as dad's cheeks turn a bright pink.

I stare at the TV but continue not to understand the concept of the movie. Cam chuckles beside me and I glance over at him. He turns his smile to me and I raise a brow before looking at Beverly next to him.
She was currently on her phone, texting one of her friends vigorously. Nonna was sitting on my left, watching the movie along with Cam. Dad and Linda were sharing the loveseat, Linda reading a book as her feet rest in my dad's lap. And James was still nowhere to be found.
I look back at the TV and decide that my presence wasn't really needed right now. I sigh heavily before standing up.
"Nipotina," Nonna instantly grabs my hand and I look down at her. "Where are you going?"
"I-I'm just going upstairs. I want to go lay down... I'm tired."
Her eyes narrow at me and I glance over at Linda. She's already looking at me with wide eyes. "You better not be lying to your grandmother," Nonna growls and I look back down at her.
