I sit under my covers, staring at my window. Of course I made sure to lock it after that stupid idiot snuck into my house.

Lydia still hasn't come home, neither has mom or Cam. It's around midnight and I've been sitting here watching my window since stupid Hunter.

My phone vibrates in my hands and I look down at it. There's a message from Lydia.

THE MOST AMAZING BEST FRIEND WHO IS SLIGHTLY A WHORE BUT STILL AMAZING AF- Did you know when you clean a vacuum cleaner you become a vacuum cleaner?

Oh god. She's wasted.

Me: How much did you drink?

I set my phone down and crawl out of bed. I use the bathroom and when I get back there's another message from Lydia.

My phone flies across my room and a small scream "flies" from my mouth. She sent me a fucking nude!

I grab my phone to text her back but she's already sent me another message.

THE MOST AMAZING BEST FRIEND WHO IS SLIGHTLY A WHORE BUT STILL AMAZING AF- I accidentally sent that to my mom. Oops.

Me: Oh my god, Lydia. I am not your mother. I'm your best friend.

THE MOST AMAZING BEST FRIEND WHO IS SLIGHTLY A WHORE BUT STILL AMAZING AF- I sent one to both of you. Can you come pick me up?

I roll my eyes. Me: Send me the address.

Minutes later I'm pulling on a jacket and slides. I march downstairs to find it completely empty. Where the hell is my family?

I shake the thought away as I walk over to the table next to the door. On top is the key dish where all of our random sets of keys are. I dig through them, in search for my car keys.

When I don't find them I pull the dish closer to me and begin taking them out. Where the hell are my keys?

Then it dawns on me.

Lydia took my car to the party.

I stand there in silence, staring at the key dish. Thoughts and ideas of how I could possibly murder Lydia.

I could strangle her with all the clothes she 'borrowed' from my closet. I could drown her in my pool. I could electrocute her. Run her over.

And then I could just hide her body in the woods. Simple.

Fuck!

I walk back upstairs and change into a black pair of converse. I lock the front door behind me when I step into the porch.

Now I have to walk...

I pull my phone out of my pocket and reread the address.

Three miles to.... Asher Hennix's house.

Lydia I am going to kill you.

As I'm walking down the driveway a pair of headlights in front of my house blinds me. I cover my eyes enough for me to see the color of the car.

Black.

The headlights of the car stay on but I hear the sound of a door opening. I take a step back, ready to dart back into the house.

"Bells?"

My heart drops and so does my hand when a tall figure steps in front of the headlights. The only thing that is illuminated of him is his silhouette. I walk towards him slightly, the sound of his voice is highly recognizable.

"Why are you outside at midnight?"

I finally place the voice with a face in my head and I roll my eyes. He's only said two things to me and he's already pissed me off.

"None of your business." I state and begin walking away from him.

"Bells." He calls after me.

"Get away from me." I shove my hands into my pockets. Since it's November, it's pretty cold.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"Get away from me, Stone." I repeat, more harsh this time.

"Isabella." I turn towards him, my anger rising.

"What!?" I shout at him. "What do you want!?"

He stares at in silence before nodding towards his car. "Get in the car." He orders.

I narrow my eyes at him. "Pardon?"

"Get in the car. Someone obviously took your car and you're pissed about. My bets on Lydia and now you have to go somewhere important. Otherwise you'd still be inside, sitting in your bed, watching your window." He states confidentially.

"Were you stalking me?"

"Not stalking. Watching maybe, but not stalking."

"Oh my god..." I whisper. "You're fucking demented."

"Bella, just get in the car so I can give you a ride."

"No," I shake my head, "no way. I'm not getting in a car with you."

"Why not?" He asks, genuinely confused. "It's freezing out and you're refusing a ride?"

"Maybe because I hate you." I say.

"Bella-"

"No, seriously Hunter." This is the first time I've spoken his name in front of him. His eyes twinkle at the sound of his name until he understands my anger. "I hate you."

"Bella..." He sighs. "Please just get in the car before you get a cold."

I furrow my brows at him. "You can drop me off and leave." I say.

He examines my face before nodding slowly. I follow him over to his car and get into the passenger seat.
