So my friend came up to me today and she was like "Oh my god! You bitch! Why did you take that story off of wattpad!? I was in the middle of reading it!"
My alarm wakes me up and I instantly throw my phone across the room. "UGH!" I fucking hate getting up early. It's Monday morning and I have to be at school in an hour.
I roll out of bed and walk over to my closet. I grab a loose orange shirt, black skinny jeans, a denim jean jacket and my brown combat boots.
I walk into the ensuite and take a quick shower. When I get out, I blow dry my hair and tie it into a ponytail.
"Good morning, sweetie." My mom greets me when I get into the kitchen. She's sitting at the counter, like every morning, drinking her coffee and reading a paper back book.
"Morning," I reply before opening the door of the fridge.
"Where is Lydia? She's normally here every morning." She chuckles.
"At home getting ready probably. Are you working today?" I turn to her.
"Yes." She nods. "So you'll need to pick Cammy up from school."
"Okay," I mutter before closing the fridge. "I got to get to school. I'll see you later." I call and walk back upstairs.
On Sunday morning, when Lydia was no longer hungover, she went with Hunter to pick up my car. She ended up parking it two streets over and that's why she couldn't find it. They dropped off my car last night.
I grab my bag off of my desk chair and head to the front door. When I step out onto the porch I hear another door shutting.
I look over at Hunter's house to see him standing on his porch, staring at me. I furrow my brows at him before breaking eye contact. I walk down the steps and towards my car.
As I'm fumbling with my keys, my eyes dart to him. He's already getting into his car and when he starts it up, his eyes meet mine. But he quickly looks away from me and his car speeds down the street.
Did he just ignore me?
Of course, he did. That's what he does. He pretends to care about you and then just leaves you hanging on the edge, letting you fall all by yourself.
I roll my eyes and get into the car. The drive to school is quick and I park in the front of the parking lot, closest to the entrance.
As soon as I get out of my car, a pair of arms is wrapped around me. They're too small to be Lydia's so who could they be?
I push them off and turn around to see Chris standing behind me. "Chris?" I raise a brow.
His blonde hair is styled up and his blue eyes are shining wildly. He smiles happily at me, "Hey, Bella."
I sling my bag over my shoulder as I stare at him. "What do you want?"
Unlike Vanessa, Chris continued to talk to me after Hunter left, but not as much as I want him to.
"Good morning to you too." He grins.
"What do you want, Christopher?"
He rolls his eyes, "Vanessa wanted me to ask you something."
"Get away from me." I start walking away from him towards the entrance of the school.
"Bella." He chuckles. He follows me towards my locker and when we approach it, he leans against the one next to it. "She just wanted me to ask if you hated her or something."
"No, I do not hate her."
"Then why are you being so rude to her?" He asks.
"Because the only reason she is talking to me or cares what I think of her is because Hunter is back. And she's wanting Lydia and me to be friends with her again."
"Oh. Okay, yeah that is pretty bitchy." He nods and I chuckle. "So... Have you seen him yet? Hunter?"
I raise a brow up at him, "Yes, I have. Have you?"
"Yeah. The other day." He nods again. "You've talked to him?"
"Yeah, I have. Why are you asking me this?" I shut my locker and cross my arms over my chest.
"No reason." He shrugs innocently, but his eyes say something different. I narrow my eyes at him.
"Hm..."
"What?" He laughs.
"You're up to something." I point at him as we walk down the hall.
"I am not." He defends. "And if I was, you wouldn't know because I am sneaky." He wiggles his brows and I laugh.
"If you are one thing, it is not sneaky."
"I am too! I'm like a fucking ninja!"
"A very loud, clumsy ninja," I state.
"Okay, I am clumsy. But I'm still a ninja." He narrows his eyes at me.
I shake my head at him. He smiles at me until he sees something behind me that must be more intriguing. I furrow my brows and look over my shoulder. The smile I was wearing drops quickly when I see Hunter leaning against a locker with a girl wrapping her arm around his waist. He's standing next to Blake and Vanessa.
"Um..." I turn back to Chris who's now looking at me thoughtfully. "I have to get to class." He nods slowly. "Bye." I walk around him quickly towards my English class.
