"I-ikaw?!" Sigaw ko kay Lawrence. "A-anong ginagawa mo dito?"
"You should be thanking me right now." There goes his mocking smile again. "Hindi yung sinisigawan mo ko."
I glared at him. I can't believe it! Nagkita na naman kami! Ugh!
Inayos ko yung sarili ko. "Salamat sa ginawa mo." Tapos nun, nagsimula na akong maglakad at huminto sa kalsada para mag-abang ng taxi.
"I'll drive you home. You know, your fiance won't be happy once he learned that his girl is going home alone at night after she was almost molested."
Nilingon ko siya. "Hindi siya magagalit. No thanks, I can manage myself."
Nagbago yung features ng mukha niya. "You know it's dangerous. Look what happened to you earlier."
"Bakit ba ang kulit ng kaluluwa mo?! Sinabi nang hindi!" I glared at him and he seemed not to care.
"I just want to be friends--"
"FRIENDS?" I scoffed. "Kung gusto mong makipag-kaibigan, hindi ka mangungulit, mang-i-stalk at hindi ka mamimilit! Now. If you want me to be friends with you, leave me alone."
Tumawa lang siya. "I like the way you shout at me. It makes you even more beautiful."
Mukhang hindi ako titigilan ng lalaking ito. I sighed in surrender. "Please stop bothering me."
"Can't help it. I am already attracted." Kinuha niya yung kamay ko at hinila niya ako papuntang parking lot.
"Will you let go of my hand!?" Sabi ko. Pero parang wala siyang narinig. Huminto kami sa isang itim na sasakyan at pinagbuksan niya ako.
"Get in." He asked me nicely.
Gustong-gusto kong sipain yung ibon ng lalaking ito talaga. "Fine. Let's have a deal. I will drive you home safely and after this, I won't bother you again."
"Talaga?" Sabi ko. He nodded.
"Hell yes. Now get in."

When Lawrence's car stopped in front of my apartment, I froze.
"There. You're home safe and sound." Sabi ni Lawrence. Napatingin ako sa kanya.
Nangunot yung noo niya. "What's wrong?" He extended his hand to my forehead. "Hey, you okay?"
Tumango ako. Shit. Bakit nandito pa din si Tyrone? I watched him as he rubs his hand at the back of his neck. He's waiting patiently outside the door of my apartment.
Lawrence followed my gaze and I heard him chuckle. "Woah. Nangangamoy break-up."
I shot him a glare. "Shut up."
"You're just scared of your bad-ass fiance." He laughed. "I think I'm outta here. Get out." Sabi niya.
