A few weeks later
Niall
We have a concert in Denmark tonight, and we can't wait. We don't go to Denmark, Norway, or Sweden. Ever. This is the first time in 3 tours.
"Hey, baby. Oh, you're here too, hmm?" Liam says, addressing my bump before me. I chuckle. We find out the gender in the morning, before we head to Norway.
"Hey, love. You ready for the wrath of wardrobe?" I ask. Liam shakes his head.
"I don't know why we need wardrobe. We've done just fine our last tours." He grumbles.
"I guess it's cuz we have June the Bug with us, and girls like color coordination or whatever." I sigh. Liam helps me up, even though I don't need help, and we head off to wardrobe. Apparently, tonight, our colors we are using are Denmark's flag colors: Red and white.
"Hey, Niall." Patty, my stylist says.
"Hey, Patty." I say. "What am I in tonight?" I ask, praying for something good.
"They want to put you in tight clothes to show you off, but I said no. How about a white t shirt, red jeans, and black slip ons?" She asks, handing me the clothes. I could hug her.
"That sounds so much better than the tank top and sweats from last week. That was awful." I say, shuddering at the memory. She does too.
"I apologize again for that. They wanted you in heeled boots and skinny jeans and no shirt with a leather jacket. Figured you wanted a shirt." She said. I nodded.
When I finally got backstage, Liam looked beautiful in a red button down, white jacket, red shoes, and black skinny jeans. June showed up in a short white dress and red sweater that went lower than the dress. She also is sporting 3 inch white stilettos. They had her hair in two little buns. She looked rather pîssėd.
"I hate this more than that yellow pantsuit and pigtails in Germany." She mumbled. We chuckle, and then she has to head onstage. The lights are dark, and we take our places. She's spent forever on this intro, and we're using it as often as we can. The lights go on, and we're well hidden.
"Hello, Denmark!!" June says, heading to the front. They all scream. "You know me, I'm June Roque, 1D's main groupie, bestie, and artist! Well, I'm gonna tell you this. Hanging with the hottest boyband on Earth sure works for me, when I have an art project. I get a lot, and I mean a lot of time to study them. I've been working on this for a few weeks. Wanna see?" She says, her smile grows when the crowd roars. No matter how much sound her earplugs(which, may I say, are the best ever. It's a mini drawing of us laying on the grass. She did it herself) block out, nothing within a mile can't hear that.
"I'll take that as a yes. Hey, John, Markus, Luke, Pete, Damien, get that thing out here!" She yells, and our guys roll out a giant blank piece of paper. The lights are down, so they can't tell. It's right in front of us.
"Hello? For them to see, we need lights." She says, tapping her foot until the light comes on. "Well that's better. Now, you've heard them say my pictures are lifelike? Well, I'm going to call on the boys, and see how they judge it, hmm?" She asks. The stadium is shaking, and I try to stay still. Hard when you're pregnant. June notices and quiets them.
"Hey! They can't hear me if you're so loud!" She says. They quiet down quite a bit. "Okay, well, without further ado, here come the judges of this picture. Please welcome my best friends, older brothers, boyfriend, and family outside of family, Harry, Liam, Niall, Zayn, and my favorite, Louis! Ladies and gents, ONE DIRECTION!!!" She yells, and we bust through the paper.
"Well, that's my cue! Bye guys! Bye, audience!" She says, teasing, walking off stage, obviously trying not to face plant.
"Well, I'd call that pretty lifelike, what do you lads say?" Harry says.
"If that's not lifelike, what is?" Louis jokes.
"It just had that one thing that made it so much better." Zayn said.
"Speaking of One Thing..." I laugh as the music plays.
"Enjoy!" Liam says, before we begin.
Sadly, I have to leave after an hour to rest. I will return after intermission. June and I have a while, so we talk baby.
"What do you think it's going to be?" June asks.
"Boy. Or girl. I don't know, honestly. People talk about mothers intuition, but I guess that's a woman only thing." I laugh.
"I have my money on a girl I can spoil rotten." June says.
"And I suppose you want it to be June if it's a girl, and Jake if it's a boy?" I laugh.
"Absolutely." She says, trying to look serious. She ends up looking serious--ly constipated. She's trying not to laugh.
"No but really. I kinda like the name Autumn. Nicole and Lily are pretty. Hazel, Leigh, Zara, Josie. Love those too. For a boy, Kade. Hunter, Lincoln, Nathan, Levi, Zachary, and Joseph." I say, once we've laughed.
"Awww. I think my favorites are Hazel, Autumn, Hunter, and Levi." I hear. Liam. I feel a smile creep across my face.
"Me too. You finally getting a break?" I ask, getting up and pecking his lips.
"Yup. Harry tripped over a shoe someone threw onstage, so we're off 5 minutes early. Security is working crowd control. We have about 20 minutes." Liam says.
"He okay?" June asks.
"I'm fine. I just wrapped my ankle, and I'm good as new." Harry says from behind us, making us jump.
"Holy mother, Harry. Don't give us warning or anything." I say. He grins.
"Sorry. Thought you heard the limp." He said. "I tripped over someone's stiletto heel." He laughed.
"Those hurt to trip over, and trip in." June says. We all laugh.
"You're back on, guys." Apollo, our stagehand friend, says. Liam helps me up, and we head back out onstage. I look back and June has kicked off her heels and propped up her feet. I stick my tongue out, and she returns that favor.
An hour later
"Thank you Denmark! We love you! Good night!!" We all yell, heading offstage as the lights go dark.
"I'm only 21 weeks, and my feet are already killing me! I swear, I won't be able to do more than a song by the end!" I groan. Liam chuckles and we all head out to the bus. There's a secret door out the side, and we get to the car quickly. Liam whispers in my ear.
"Only a few hours until we find out the sex of the baby." He whispers. I smile.
"Yeah. Is it bad I'm nervous and tired at the same time?" I ask.
"No. It's not bad for either. Go to sleep, we'll get you up before the appointment." Liam says, kissing my head. I really am tired. I close my eyes and drift off.
