The first day of tour; before the airport

Harry

"Goodbye, Harry. I'm sorry." she says, driving of in her cab with her things. Lucy just dumped me. I sit on the front porch, numb, almost. Niall walks out a few minutes later, and sees me.
"Hey, man. What's up?" he asks.
"Lucy just dumped me. No reasons. Just left." I croak. He sits next to me, and puts an arm around my shoulders.
"Oh, Harry.... I'm sorry. I hate to change the subject so fast, but we have to go." he says.
"No, I need a distraction. Let's get ready and go." I say, pushing back my emotions, and getting up and walking inside.
"Hey. About ready?" Liam asks, heading out to put his stuff in the car.
"To get away from Lucy? Or go on tour. Because I'm ready to do both." I say.
"I'm guessing she just.."
"Yup."
"I'm so sorry, man."
"Thanks. Now let's hit the states!" I say, trying to limit the subject. I walk inside, and Louis is sitting with the boys. June must be getting dressed.
"They're not mine and I don't want to leave them. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling. Or Liam and Ni with Dylan." I say, sinking onto the couch next to him.
"To be absolutely honest, I don't know what I'm going to do with all the sleep, and no time with my lads. But my poor wife gets the good side. No sleep and all the time in the world with them. I don't know if I can go five months. Then, a month and a half later, three more months. And then we'll get back right before their first birthday. Then, we'll spend a few months writing, and then we're on break. This is crazy. Our last tour for a long time." I say.
"Harry. Stop. I have too many emotions right now to be feeling them about us too. So, you and Lucy say your goodbyes yet?" he asks, stepping into a whole new set of feelings.
"Ummmmm... yeah. For good. She just kind of left. No reasons." I say.
"That's bitchy. She's not worth your thoughts." he tells me.
"I know. But I can't help it. Besides, I know that she and June--"
"Lucy! No! He comes before you ever will. He's a much bigger person. At least he'd give a better reason than he just didn't think it was going anywhere. That's when you try, Lucy! Do not contact me ever again." we hear, as June comes down stairs, in a soft pink dress and white converse. "Oh, Hazzy, I'm so sorry." she says, seeing me and hugging me.
"Oh, whatever. Thanks though. Now, we need to go. Let me get my bag, and we'll load up for the airport." I say, and they head out to buckle in the boys, and Niall gets Dylan. I bring out my bag and pack everything into the trunk, and get in the car.
"Let's get to the airport." Liam sighs. These poor guys. I'm the only one without a child, so I can only imagine the dread they are facing, leaving their sons and daughter. But Louis is taking a million pictures, and just watching the boys sleep, and Liam and Niall have the hard job of telling Dylan why Daddy and Papa won't be around for a little while.
"But Auntie Berry and Aunt Loulou will be around. And maybe Gramma, Granddad, Nana, and Grandpop will come around for a while. And we'll call every night we can. Okay? You can't understand any of this. But when you can really talk and understand, we'll call and help Auntie Berry explain. Okay?" I can hear them saying.
"Uncle Zan?" she asks. "ZZ?" Oh no.
"No, baby, they had to go. But maybe you can see them soon, too. I don't know." Liam says. He's taken this a lot harder than any of us. If there were two brothers here, it was him and Zayn. Always them.
"Soon?" she says. Niall nods.
"When the babies are born, you'll get to see them again. Okay? A few months now. I'm what, almost 6 months? So about 3 more months and we get to spend some time with them, okay?" Liam says. Dylan nods, not really understanding. We pull up to the airport, and time stops.
"Okay. I love you all so much. We'll talk later, okay?" Louis promises, kissing June, Logan, Freddie, and Hunter.
"We have to go, princess. We'll talk to you on your birthday." Liam says, kissing his daughter's head, and Niall hands Dylan to June, who sets her in her seat next to her and the boys. Lou, Jen will be waiting to help out for the next few months. We all climb out of the car, and Niall, who is usually very loud and upbeat while we go to the jet, is quiet, helping his husband up the steps to and into the seats.
"I'm going to get some rest. June and I didn't exactly get a lot of sleep." Louis says, going red. We all chuckle. Sometimes I wonder how they have time with three newborns. But I don't necessarily want an answer, either.
