Imagine #1
-Riley and the Boys

I was sitting at the bonfire watching the roaring flames create little sparks of light go here and there. Pan was playing his flute and the boys were up dancing to the beat of the song.

I swear. this is what happens every night. I have been here for at least a month now, I'm not even tracking the days anymore. Pan wasn't ok with me staying here at first, but I think I'm slowly but surely growing on him... Well I hope so. He never really talks to me personally, if he does, he treats me like one of the lost boys.

The person I have really connected to here is a lost boy my age, his name is Danny. He greeted me on the first day here; he showed me around the camp and how the system works here.

He was dancing when he looked at me and waved his hand for me to join. I shook my head no, psh I don't dance.

He kept nodding and I kept disagreeing until he came over and literally picked me up. He set me down next to him and he held out two sticks and a mask.

"Danny, I can't dance..." I said all embarrassed.

"C'mon Riley, loosen up a bit! Have some fun! You have been so uptight since you got here. I have never seen you get crazy. Please, for me?" He made a pouty face.

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Ugh, ok fine!" I put on the cheetah mask and started banging the sticks together. We all jumped and danced in the circle, and surprisingly, it was really fun. For once in my life, I felt infinite. I let down my hair, which has been up in a bun, and it fell past my shoulders.

"Woohoo!!!!" we all yelled at the top of our lungs.

When the song was done, we all cheered and laughed.

Danny pulled me aside.

"You were really good out there!" He laughed.

"You must be kidding because I swear I have two left feet." I playfully punched his arm.

I saw Pan staring at me, as if in a daze. When we both made we contact, we simultaneously looked away.

That was strange....

He cleared his throat.

"Time for bed boys! Be ready for training." He stormed off and sat down on a rock, still staring at us.

"Well, I will see you tomorrow Riley. Good night." He gave me a friendly hug, which was nice at first and then it got longer. It was pretty cute. I stepped back and smiled.

"Good night Danny." I blushed.

He smiled and walked into his tent. I was heading into my tent when Pan poofed right in front of me.

"Woah, I'm not used to that yet." I giggled a little embarrassed. He kept a straight face. "Wow, someone is a little uptight. Now, if you would excuse me-" I tried to step past him, but he put his arm out.

"Not so fast love." He said.

"What do you want from me?"

"You will see," he ordered, "Follow me."

I rolled my eyes and followed him into the rough terrain. We were pretty far away from the camp, I could tell we were headed toward the beach.

"Pan, just tell me what you want! I'm tired!" I whined.

"You need to communicate with the mermaids, they would trust you compared to me. Now, if you would stop complaining, we are almost there." He turned back around and kept walking. I didn't say one word until we got there.
