#41 Not so Long Distance

"Do you have to move back to Houston?" I frowned as I leaned against the locker's next to Robbie's. 

"I'm sorry love, you know I don't want to leave you. And I love it here in Vancouver, but I'm done filming now, so my contract is over." He pulled out his history book. "Well, I am going to be late to Mr. Brown's class. See you at lunch."

He shut his locker and walked past me. 

"Wait" he turned back around, "I forgot something."

"What?" I asked.

He snaked his arms around my waist and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"Much better." He smiled and ran off to his class.

"Such a dork." I shook my head as I turned the corner. Brooke and her crew blocked my path.

"What are you wearing freak?" She tugged at my jacket, which was Robbie's rugby jacket. He let me borrow it on our first date, and I never gave it back. It smells like him, that's why I love it.

"Leave me alone..." I looked down to avoid eye contact.

"Aww is poor Hanna trying to hide her ugly and fat body underneath there?"

Well that hurt.

"Or are you just trying to prove that someone actually cares about you?" She crossed her arms.

"Stop it Brooke." I warned her.

"What are you going to do about it, bitch?" She grabbed my sleeves and threw her arms down, ripping the arms off my jacket. I stood there in complete shock.

"This jacket symbolizes your relationship, and once your creep of a boyfriend is gone, you will have nothing. And once again, you will be alone. Robbie will move on and leave you in the dust, probably find some other girl who is much prettier-"

That was it. I was done with her shit.

I lunged at her making her fall to the ground. She pulled my hair and flipped me over. We basically continued the fight but with full-on punches.

"Fight!" everyone in the hallway. We were surrounded by people cheering us on. She punched me on the right side of my face.

"Hey!" an adult voice said. "HEY!" 

Two security guards pulled us apart.

"Break it up!" One of them yelled.

"What is going on here?!?" yelled my principal.

When they were scolding us, I wasn't even listening. I saw Robbie and a few more classmates step out of the rooms to see what was going on. When his eyes landed on me, they grew wide with what seemed like disappointment and concern.

"Hanna, Brooke, to my office. Now!" 

I grabbed my backpack and followed in front of the security. I looked back at Robbie who was trying to make his way through the crowd but it was too late.

"I'm very disappointed in you two, especially you Hanna. I have never seen you like this. So on that note, Hanna this is your first warning, Brooke you have detention for a week. You two ladies are dismissed. Go to your next period." 

Brooke glared at me as she stormed out of the building. I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked out the door a couple of minutes after her. I kept walking and passed Robbie who was sitting against the wall.
