I was running through the enchanted forest, feeling the breeze run through my fur, the dirt beneath my paws. I ran until I smelled something weird. I stopped and looked around the dark forest. I heard voices so I turned back into my human form.

I saw a group of villagers with torches looking around.

"Does you guys need any help?" I asked, adjusting my mother's red hood on my shoulder.

"Lucy! You shouldn't be out here, the moon is out. If someone who doesn't know you sees you as a wolf, they-"

"I know, I'm careful enough. So why are you guys out here so late at night?"

"Our sons, they have gone missing! Have you seen them?" Asked the baker.

"No, I'm sorry. I will keep an eye out, I promise."

"It's so weird. I went to check on my youngest and he was gone!"

"It's like they vanished!"

"Eric's belongings are still at home, but he is gone ." said my neighbor.

"Eric?" I asked. He nodded.

Eric is my best friend. He is the only one who understands my issues. He is like a brother to me, and now he is gone. I used to live next to him with my mother Ruby, but after a hunting accident, I began living with my father. He isn't my most favorite person in the world. I started living with him 3 years ago. He didn't even know about me. I had to ask the blue fairy who my father was and then I told him the news. Ever since then, my father has been very protective of me, I am the only living relative of his and he is mine.

"I should get back, I will tell you right away if I see any of them." I took my hood off and transformed back into a wolf.

"Thank you Lucy, stay safe."

I turned and ran back to where my father was located. My paws leave a trail behind me in the sand. I look up and see everyone running around. I see my father looking out at the water.

I strode over to him and he looked down at me.

"There you are, you had me worried." He said scolding me.

I grunted.

"Put your hood on." he said.

His hook pulled the red hood up on my head, my long black hair falling down.

"Why is everyone running around Papa?" I asked.

"We are leaving."

"We are, where?"

"It doesn't concern you. You should get down in your room. Preparing the sails can be dangerous and I don't want you transforming by accident."

"Aye aye Captain." I mocked him.

"Lucy-" I shut the door on him.

I laid down in my bed and just stared at the random doodles around my room. The rocking of the ship soothed me until I fell asleep.

I hear someone open my door. My eyes slowly open. I peek my head out of the covers and it is my father.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I was just letting you know we arrived at our destination, but for your safety, you need to remain here, ok?" He put his hand on my shoulder. He seemed pretty serious.

"Since when have you cared for my safety?" I scoffed.

"Hook! C'mon!" someone yelled outside.

"Lucy, this is not the time to talk about this. Just stay here."
