Imagine #5
-Pan plays HOOKie

I was in my tent doodling pictures of ships and girl pirate outfits. I know, weird. Even though I am a lost girl, I have always been fascinated with pirates. My parents don't know about my obsession. I don't care if they are our enemy, but they do.

There is a knock on my tent door.

"Ebony, can I come in?" yelled my father.

"Yes." I groan, hiding my sketch pad underneath my bed and pulling out a book.

"Have you been practicing your magic?" he crossed his arms.

He constantly nags me about magic. it gets old. He began to fix my green tunic that looked like his. I shoo him away.

"Why does it matter? I will never be as good as my half brother or you..." I say under my breath, but of course he heard.

"Look, Rumple is the dark one so no one is going to be as good as him. But people can still look at you and say 'Wow, Pan's daughter is almost as powerful as he father.' Don't you want that?"

"No papa, I want to be happy, I want to explore the seven seas and more! I don't want to be stuck here my whole life on the stupid island."

"This island is not stupid! It-"

Uncle Felix came in and cleared his throat.

"Pan, the island is being invaded by pirates."

His eyes widened.

"Eb, stay hidden." He ordered.

"Ok papa." I said.

He left my tent, and turned off the light.

Pirates? This can be my chance to meet one.

I hear a lot of yelling outside of my tent, along with the sounds of swords smashing against each other. Distant cannons blasted into the night air. I love it!

I saw a shadow that was outlined by the moon on the outside of my tent wall. They were entering!

I crawled underneath my bed and tried to keep myself as hidden as possible. I saw a pair of boots step around my room. I heard the pirate rustling around in my jewelry box. Typical, I don't mind. The mysterious feet came near my bed and kicked my sketch book. A hand reached down and almost touched me. Instead, it grabbed the book.

"Woah...." the person gasped.

"Calico!" a Pirate yelled.

"Coming!" said the person in the room. He sounded young...

The feet ran out of the room. I got out from under the bed and looked around. That pirate took my book! I don't think so! I worked too hard to gather all of that knowledge for it to walk right out my door like that. I got up and followed the boy. He was walking alone back toward the ships I guessed. My book was in his side satchel, if I was quiet enough, I could have grabbed it.

I walked carefully closer and closer to him, being very silent. I reached out to grab the book, my hand on the corner. I tripped a little, tugging at it. The boy looked down at me intensely with his ice blue eyes. I gasped. He pulled out his sword and I used a spell to make myself disappear. He spun aroud looking for me with his swrod out in front of him.

I leaned up against a tree, holding my breath. He was listening to every noise in our surrounding. His short black hair blew around in the small breeze. He turned away from me and began to walk the opposite direction. I let out a shaky breath and he threw the sword toward me. It hit the tree an inch away from my head. I appeared so that he could see me.

"You... you're a girl..." he seemed surprised.

"And you are a pirate." I said standing up tall like my father does.

"What do you want with this book?" He asked.

"Well, I am just trying to get my belongings back."

"This, this is yours?

"Yes, I happen to do my research with various topics. Now hand it back."

"Demanding... I like that. And your name is...?" He said while handing the book over.

"Ebany. You?"

He put his sword back into it's holder. "Calico Jones."

"Jones, as in Killian Jones, as in-"

"Captain Hook, yes he is my father. You seem to know a lot for a lost girl. You are different, in a good way." He gives a small grin.

"Yeah, " I blushed, " Um, so why are you guys here?"

"My father wants to get revenge on your leader, Pan. But wait a second, since when does Pan allow girls on his island?" he raised an eyebrow.

"He doesn't. But I am a special exception."

"Oh... are you his 'Girlfriend'?" He laughed.

"No, Pan is my father." I stated. Calico immediately stoppped laughing. He took a step back.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you or your father's crew. I don't want to be here. I want to escape from Neverland. Can you help me? I won't stay on your ship long. Just until we reach a different land. Please." I begged.

"Fine," he said, "Follow me. You must stay hidden for now."

I waved my hand and became invisible.

"Is this better?" I laugh.

"Woah, I keep forgetting you have magic."

"And I can fly" I bragged.

"Um, where did you go?"

"I'm right here." I grabbed his hand. His cheeks turned a little pink. I became visible again.

"You know Ebany," he pulled me closer so that our lips were an inch apart. "You are the best lost girl ever."

"And you Calico are the best pirate ever."

He leaned and placed a small kiss on my lips. I pulled back.

I whispered on his lips in a teasing way, "See you on the ship".  I winked and flew up into the air. I think I was always meant to be a pirate :)
