I slowly sat back down beside Gray.
"What?" I whispered seeing as Ethan was still in hearing distance
"I just don't want to leave yet" he said quietly looking at my hand that he still held in his.
"I like being with you" he said almost too quiet to hear
what do I do... what do I do.
I quickly pushed him in the water bursting into laughter when I saw his facial expression.
"What was that for?!" He shouted with a laugh
I shrugged still laughing.
He got out of the water heading towards me quickly.
Oh no.
I attempted to run away, but failed seeing as he is much faster than me.
I should probably work out more...
"No!" I screamed as he picked me up and tossed me into the water.
I could hear him laughing as I came up out of the water.
"Grayson!" I shouted
He just shrugged copying my actions from before.

As we both lay on the rock that overlooked the small lake, I couldn't help but think about how much I actually enjoy being with Gray.
It's crazy actually.
He helps me have fun, let loose and do things that are completely out of my comfort zone...
But all at the same time, he makes me feel safe while doing it.
Honestly, I don't understand how he does it...
And Honestly, it scares me a little.
"I wish today didn't have to end" Gray said breaking the silence and looking over at me.
"Same here" I said turning to look at him too.
I could see him glance at my lips then back up at my eyes every now and then...
I need to do something...
"Uh, I should probably be getting back to my grandmas" I said with an awkward laugh as I sat up.
He quickly did the same.
"Uh yeah, sure" he said helping me to my feet.
He quickly threw on his shirt as we headed back to the field together.

"Gray" I said quietly as we walked.
"Em" he repeated
It was silent for a moment as I debated on how I should say this.
"I really did have fun today, thank you" I said stopping to look at him.
He nodded his head with a smile "me too Em" he said looking deep into my eyes which makes me feel all shy.

We rode the four wheeler back to the car where Ethan was waiting.
Oops, Sorry Ethan.
"We're coming" Ethan mocked me with a laugh as I got off the four wheeler with Gray.
"Sorry" I said with a small laugh
He smiled and then walked around to open the car door for me.
"Thanks" I said quietly getting into the passenger seat.
Grayson quickly hopped into the drivers side and Ethan sat in the back.
I looked over at Gray to see him completely focused on the road as he drove me home.
I wonder if Gray wanted to kiss me or he was just casually looking at my lips.
I don't even know... Boys really confuse me.
Plus, Grayson is a celebrity... Why would he want me?
He could have any girl he wanted... any girl at all.
Its just not realistic for someone like him to like someone like me.
I've let myself overthink this. I can't keep doing this. He would never like me.
Not me.
Its unrealistic.
"Em" Grayson said
"Huh?" I said looking over at him
"We are here" he said with a laugh
"Oh sorry. I just kinda.... Zoned" I said with a shrug
"It's okay. I'll.. See you later" he said with a smile
I smiled back still thinking about the whole ordeal..
"Bye Emerson!" Ethan said from the back
"Bye Gray, bye Ethan" I said with a smile getting out of the car and walking into my Grandmas house.
What a day...
