Only two short months ago, you had gotten a part in the school play you never thought you'd have. Yet here you were, sitting in the hallway against the lockers, intently staring at the wall. Today was the day that had sent you into a panic for weeks now. Yesterday you had accepted the fact that you would have to do it.

Now you were determined to do the opposite.

There was no way in hell you were kissing your crush, let alone in front of an audience. "What the hell are you doing." A familiar voice asked, pulling you from your thoughts. You shook out your head, seeing a pair of long legs in front of you. You looked up, and saw the one and only Connor Murphy.

It was just your luck that your crush happened to be your love interest in the show. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm sitting here." You replied flatly. Connor sighed. "You know what, I genuinely don't give a shit why you're out here, but all I know is that you're going back in there, one way or another." He crossed his arms.

You rolled your eyes. "Well, I'm not moving. So unless you plan on carrying me, then you're shit out of luck." A smirk played on his lips. "If you insist, sweetheart." In a flash, you were picked up, and were being carried like a bride by Connor Murphy. This was both your best dream and your worst nightmare.

"I didn't mean that literally, ya know." You commented flatly, not looking him in the eye. "Well you certainly weren't going to move anytime soon, what did you expect me to do?" "I don't know, leave me alone." "Well smartass, we don't have all day, and it was faster just to carry you." You tried to squirm away, but the asshole had an iron grip.

"You can put me down now." You say, still trying to get out of his grasp. "Nah, I'd rather not." "I'm too heavy." "You weigh literally nothing, Y/N. I'm not letting you go." You pursed your lips, this situation getting more and more annoying by the second. "Fuck you Connor." You muttered. "Maybe later, sweetheart." You turned bright red.

"You know fully well that isn't what I meant." You buried your face into his shoulder. You could just see that shit eating grin on his face, and quite frankly, you wanted to headbutt him in the jaw. "You realize I could headbutt you if I wanted to, right?" You asked, very straight forward about it. "Why would you want to do that?" He asked, feigning innocence.

"Because you're an asshole." A grin came to his face. "You got yourself into this situation, princess." "Don't call me princess." Connor smirked. "Would you prefer Sweetheart? Darlin'? Honey? Significant-" "None of the above, thank you." Thankfully, the entrance to the theatre space was close.

"Okay, you can put me down now." You said, not wanting to explain the situation.  "Nah, I'm good." "Goddammit, Murphy." You muttered. You were carried into the theatre, and you prayed that nobody noticed your current situation. But of course, that couldn't be the case, considering the circumstances.

"Look who I found!" Connor yelled, getting the attention of everybody in the theatre. Phones came out, and you heard Jared laugh. "Fucking hell." You muttered.  You frantically tried to hide your face in Connor's shoulder, but you already knew that this would be on multiple instagram pages by tomorrow.

"Connor! Y/N! I need you two onstage!"  You sighed, accepting the fact that you were going to have to do this eventually, so you might as well get it over with. I mean, the fact that Jared Kleinmeme was there didn't help whatsoever, but at least you didn't have to kiss him. That would have gone much, much differently.

Although you had sort of gotten used to this by now, you were still very, very, annoyed with the fact that he was still carrying you. "Okay, you've had your fun. Now put me down before I consider killing you." He was enjoying this way too much. He carried you up the stairs to the stage, and only put you down when you were both center stage.
