"Hey, you there?"
"Sera! How are you and the baby doing?"
"Baby's doing fine. I'm good as well. How are you, love?"
"Good. You seem quite cheery today... What's going on?"
"Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Just the er, hormones."
"Right. The baby must be happy then. How's Lilo and Jules?"
"Lilo's fabulous. She misses you even though we live down the road and she saw you yesterday which is very cute. Jules seems to be fine as far as I can see. I don't know if he's internally panicking but I've told him that I'm fine and the baby's fine."
"Yeah, he always was a worrier."
"Should've told me that when I tripped over my own feet when we went on our first official date."
"Wait. I've never heard about this. What did he do?"
"He spent fifteen minutes worrying about me when I was perfectly fine. He prodded all ten of my toes to make sure they weren't secretly broken. Quite sweet really."
"That sounds like him."
"Haha."
"Sera, tell me what's going on."
"Nothing! Why would you think that? Everything's peachy. Hehe!"
"Sera, you just called me to talk and you ended up rambling. You never do this when we usually call."
"Er... I'm fine really."
"Sera."
"Ok fine! Hemightbecomingheretolookaftermeandyourparentswantyoutwotomeet."
"What?"
"He might be coming here to look after me and your parents want you two to meet. There said it."
"Oh."
"I'm sorry that it's a bit spontaneous."
"No, no, I'm fine. I just - just need to think over a few things. You know?"
"It might be a bit hard, you know, meeting after all these years."
"Yeah."
"But remember, he was your best friend."
"Was is the keyword."
"Oh darling. It'll be alright."
"Hmm."
*Lilo cries in the background*
"Right, I have go tend to Lilo. Have a good day and don't fret ok?"
"Bye."
"Bye."
A/N: Pickles isn't too sure about meeting her friend. Most people know who Pickles really is and stuff and I wanted this story to be a kind of massive dramatic irony.
