Elle's POV
Oporto, Portugal
After a day and a half, we reached our first destination. Pagbaba pa lang ng cruise ship, I felt the vibe already.
"Let's go Mahal? I'll bring you to the best sea food restaurant!"
Hearing the word seafood, para akong natatakam. I don't know pero kasi yun yung last na niluto nung gourmet chef na napanood ko sa TV kanina.
While heading to the restaurant, he gave me his arm. Napansin ko lang din sa kanya, he wants me to clung to his arm than snaking his arms on my waist or holding hands.
Pagdating namin sa restaurant, pang 2nd waiting kami. He talked to a restaurant crew then a lady who I think is a supervisor or manager came to him and talk to him. I was amazed! Wow! He can also speak Portuguese!
With less than a minute, we are seated. Bonus is this was the best seat I think as this is over looking the sea.
"Mahal, what do you want?" he asked while I was browsing the menu
"Whatever is sumptous."
"Whatever you wish Mahal."
He called a waitress and give our order. Haii, nakakabilib talaga kapag multi lingual.
"Olá senhorita, pode você por favor nos dar uma bandeja de seu mais melhor alimento de mar, batata triturada e baixo de mar grelhado. E uma garrafa de uva e suco de maçã.."
"Isso é tudo senhor?"
"Sim, obrigado"
"Mahal?"
Dun lang ako natauhan.
"Something wrong? You are staring at me."
"Nothing. I just wonder how many languages do you know?"
"Uhmmn, 8? 9? I really don't know. Haha."
"Really?!"
"Yeah."
"Oh God! You're so good!"
"That's a need, my Mahal. I do business so I know how to talk in their language. European people are always impressed with someone who talks the way they do."
"I see."
"My Mahal. How do you say that in Filipino?"
"Mahal ko."
"Mahal ko." He smiled and hold my hand "Sounds so sweet to the ears."
Just some minutes, a platter, a big platter of sea food was served.
(a/n: Seafood Platter Seb ordered)
"Oh God! Seb, can we even finish everything??"
"Why not?!" He laughed
I started to taste the oysters, and yeah, it taste heavenly. Ang sarap!
