Elle's POV
I am already on my maternity leave. 2 weeks na lang due ko na. Mejo mahirap na gumalaw lalo na't napakabigat na ng tyan ko. Zea's always here. Halos dito na nga sya umuwi sa unit ko but now, she needs to go to office dahil may urgent matter to attend pa sya.
Haii, my friends. Last time I had a facetime with Kaela, she said she's getting married pagbalik nila. I mean getting married again with everybody witnessing their union.
Si Zea, hindi na sya masyadong grumpy. May sweet bones din naman pala itong si Zea. I oftentime caught her talking with her husband saying sweet nothings. Maybe, sometime soon, magpapakasal na rin ulit sila.
I was about to get a glass of fresh milk nung biglang sumakit ang tyan ko. I close my eyes. Baka sumipa lang. But then, I saw a thick water coming down. God! My waterbag broke!
As much as I wanted to get my phone, malayo ito at hindi na ako masyado makagalaw. Lord, please save us. Gusto ko pa pong mapatawad ako ng parents ko.
Blood now is rushing down, ramdam ko na din ang contactions. Napaaga naman mga anak ang labas nyo. Ninang Zea's leave would be next week pa! Oh Lord, please.
Then someone opened the door and shouted. "Surprise!!!! I am soooo back!"
Oh Lord! Thank You!
"Kaela!!!"
"Elle! Anong ginagawa mo jan? Oh my God! May dugo na! Manganganak ka na? Manganganak ka na ba? Oh my God! Yung twins! Lalabas na! Masakit na ba ha Elle? Naku! Tawagan natin si Zea! Yung Ob mo ba? Paano---" I cut her
"Kaela! Mamaya ka na dumaldal! Dalhin mo na ako sa ospital."
"Ay sorry! Naeexcite lang si Ninang babies. Wait! Kaya mo pa ba maglakad ha?"
I nodded. Kaela helped me get out of the condo. Hindi ko alam kung paano but Kaela was able to bring me to the hospital while she was talking non stop. Hindi ko na talaga alam ang nangyayari.
The doctor said we'll do CS. As much as I would like to have normal delivery, hindi daw kakayanin so I nodded. Maybe Kaela signed the papers and all. Hindi ko na kasi alam ang nangyayari.
I woke up feeling groggy and all but I am hearing my two friends giggling around.
"Zea, Kaela."
"Asaan na mga baby ko?" tanong ko.
I pushed myself to be able to seat on the bed kahit mejo masakit ang tahi ko. Kaela then gave me the baby girl.
"Hi Mama, this is your baby girl." Kaela
I smiled. Oh Good Lord, Salamat po. As I held my little girl, hindi ko na nacontain ang saya ko. My tears then started to flow.
"And your baby boy." Zea gave me my baby boy
Ngayong pareho na silang nasa bisig ko, I can't help it but feel the overflowing happiness. Heto na nga ito.
"Oh my god! Nanay na ako. Eto na nga sila." I said
The girls laughed at me while I kissed my babies.
"Salamat Zea, Kaela." I said.
I don't know what will happen to me without the help of these ladies. They have been our heroes. They saved us and helped me so much.
