I still work dahil bukod sa trabaho ito, kailangang kailangan ko ng kita dahil going to be single mom ako ng twins.
Hopefully, Ito na muna ang last event ko before I take my maternity leave. I am just so happy WorkBox PH is so understanding. Siguro nga, things happen for a reason, kasi kung naandun pa rin ako sa Velasco, I will have a very hard time dealing with stress, workmates and boss. Samantalang dito sa WorkBox, I have a very very kind boss, a very efficient group of staff and everything you'll be asking for.
Today is the 50th founding anniversary of the leading network here in the country. They invited everyone who've been their partner throughout the whole year's activities. Ang alam ko, last year, Kate made their 49th anniversary. This year kasi, they hired several marketing group. Marami kasi silang events. 10 of the 15 events, kasama itong culminating, were under our house. I think 3 were under the Velasco Group and the remaining I don't know much.
"Ms. Elle, thank you for this wonderful event. Sobrang ganda talaga. Hindi ako nagkamali na kuhanin ang WorkBox." Madame Eula Tan
Madame Eula Tan is the wife of the owner of the Tan group of companies. Sya ang kasama namin na nagayos ng buong event. Kilala si Madame Eula sa pagiging metikulosa.
"Thank You Ma'am, It's an honor for WorkBoxPH na kami ang partner nyo for this event. And thank you for trusting me and my group kahit hindi na si Kate ang head."
"I knew you kaya before this event pa. Did you know that you've created my son's launch party. The Sands Bar?"
"Talaga Ma'am? Kayo po pala ang mother ni Echo."
"Yeah, he actually had a crush on you. Kung hindi ka nga lang buntis ngayon, papaligawan kita sa anak ko. Ayoko lang na masapak ang anak ko ng wala sa oras." Madame laugh
I laughed too.
"Pero hija, you've got magic hands, no wonder Kate gave this position to you. Tingnan mo nga ikaw, you are very pregnant but you're still here, making sure everything's fine. Kaya thank you hija, pero sana magrest ka na after this event. Ilang months na ba ang baby mo?"
"Going 9 na po. "
"Malaki ka magbuntis."
"Twins po kasi Madame."
"Talaga? How nice. I'm sure your husband's very happy."
I smiled at her. "I am a single mom to be Madame. I have no husband."
