You opened your eyes, finding yourself in a foggy maze. It wasn't the usual dream you used to have. Still, you had an uneasy feeling in your stomach. Then again, all of your dreams were fucked up, so it didn't surprise you.

You walked around the maze, trying to understand what was going on and find the exit. It felt like an eternity as you advanced into the maze. You just hoped that the dream would be over soon

" What are you doing, (Y/n)? You can fly for goodness sake!" When you were about to fly, but you realized that your wings were gone. They were severed off, fresh blood ran on your back and drenched your skin and clothes. Your eyes widened with horror. You felt sick to your stomach. You took a deep breath, " It's all a dream, (Y/n). it's not real." Once you were able to put yourself at ease, you continued to walk around.

You looked around the maze. In the process, you notice a few items laying on the ground as you ran into a dead end. The first one was a stuffed bunny, the second was a knife. It didn't make sense. Just as you ran into another dead-end, you gasped. Were those your wings? They were in a pool of blood discarded.

Your throat tightened, blood ran cold, and your feet had refused to move. Trying to advert your eyes from them, but like your feet, they were glued to them. You were shaking in fear.

" I-it's a dream, (Y-Y/n)."

An angel losing their wings was like having a part of you ripped away (literally), or having your honor stripped. Seeing your wings was like a mockery, reminding what you had lost.

You shut your eyes tight, slowly backing away from it. Once you were sure that you were no longer with your severed wings, you opened your eyes. Even though you were away from your wings that image haunted you. Hell, your heart beating fast and throat was tight. Looking around again, the lighting in the maze dimmed and the fog few stronger. God, it was harder to see.

SNAP

You jumped at the sudden sound, nearly making your heart jump out of your chest. After you were able to calm yourself down, you continued to go through the maze, hoping that you'd never run into a dead-end.

" Don't worry, (Y/n). You'll wake up soon," you continued to talk to yourself as a way to take your mind off the eerie sounds. Every step you made caused either a woman's blood-curdling scream to the sound of something snapping. " It's going to be fine," you took a deep breath, gripping your clothes tight to the point where they became white.

It seemed like forever as you roamed the maze. God, how long would it take until you woke up?

" (Y/n)." You heard a low, raspy voice call out to you from behind you, making you turn around to find out who it was.

There was nobody behind you. Could it had been your imagination, but you were sure that you heard the voice loud and clear. You froze as you felt hands rest on your shoulders, they burned into your skin like knives. You grabbed the hands and removed them from your body.

Turning around, you were faced with a dark mist with red eyes. For what seemed like its hand it reached out for you.

" (Y/n)," it said your name again in that raspy voice, coming closer to you.

" (Y/n)!" another voice yelled. " (Y/n)! Run! This way!"

You bolted to the source of the sound, following it as it leads you around the maze. As you did you notice that your wounds from Thomas' attack were coming back, bleeding. The blood left a trail for the back dark mist to follow.

You were running you so long, your lungs were begging for air. As much as you wanted to stop, you couldn't. You had to get away from that thing.

" (Y/n), come here," the mist beckoned for you to stop, nearly catching up to you.

With all your strength, even though your legs and lungs were on fire, you ran as fast as you could.

You were on the brink of tears from this, " Please, let this be over with," you begged, crying out for air.

" Over here!" the helping voice called out.

You were met with a recently dug hole. It looked like it was bottomless.

" What are you waiting for?! Jump!"

Your options were: stay and get 'killed' by an evil mist, or jump and fall forever.

You bit your lip and then jumped in. So, since you didn't have your wings, which were like a safety jacket for you. Without it, you were freaking out and screaming.

As you were about to closed your eyes, candles were lit and had landed in a safe place.

The candles dimly lit the room you were now in. You checked out the room as your feet and legs were trembling. Each step you took, you still heard screams and whimpers, begging for their lives to be spared.

You finally froze as the candles suddenly died out, leaving you with the screams and darkness. You screamed when you felt someone violently grab you, covering your eyes as the candles were re-lit. You struggled and kicked for freedom, but nothing worked. You were trapped.

You felt like your stomach and the area where you had your wings were being stabbed or being mutilated heavily--

That's when you woke up.
