A.N

 I have been trying to draw the creatures that I write about and shit but well thats harder than you think! in my mind I see it all like so cool and all perfectly scary and then I draw it and it looks like a cute hamster with a dress on wearing high heels and a lolly. Who do you want to or guess dies now? Or do they all survive from here on out?

The snake thing had come out of nowhere. Eric, Giuseppe, David, Danny, Mark and I where just done at the water when we walked back feeling completely clean and fresh again. Well, completely is a big word but a lot better than before. (y/n) sat at the edge of the woods with all the bags and weapons we threw down.

I had seen that she had walked back and send Mark in her place. Mark had looked grateful and patted her head softly. For some reason I had felt an annoyed feeling in my stomach when I saw that.

She still sat there with Alissa and Patsy. They were talking about something and as Alissa talked and Patsy seemed to agree (y/n) turned pink, choked and started coughing. I was quite curious what they were talking about and what had made her blush like that. She looked down and started fiddling with the strap of her quiver which was still around her shoulders with her bow. Without knowing I was smiling while I looked at her.

'What are you doing?! Starting to feel things like this right here?! Now is not the best timing you could ever have friend!' I thought to myself trying to shake it off.

When there again we all send the girls over to the lake so they could wash up too.

Mark started to put the bags down properly and weapons of each person next or on top of it. Eric, Giuseppe and David stood against a tree again not far away and Danny sat down close to me.

"Our food supply is running low. We will have to start hunting soon. And we better fill every bottle we have with this water so we don't have to go on without." Mark said making use of his military training to think clearly even when tired.

"Yeah, great idea Sherlock! We could have never thought of that ourselves." Eric said sarcastically and Mark just ignored him.

I looked back at the water side and saw Alissa starting to strip off her clothes. (y/n) seemed to argue with her as she signed to us. She was completely right to try not to let her do it seeing Danny was now completely quiet and staring at Alissa and every single one of us to see if somebody looked at her body. Alissa seemed to throw (y/n)'s argument away and jumped in the water with a scream. (y/n) doubted obviously as to what to do.

As she stood there I got a good look at her. There were a few years between us, that I knew but from the inside she didn't behave like a young girl but as a grown up woman. Smart, sweet and caring. She was slim and still wore her denim skinny jeans with the black top and the red and black stripped blouse on. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair still surprisingly neat in a high pony tail. She was staring at the water. As Patsy was twirling a foot away from her and Alissa swimming loudly at the edge I became curious what had attracted her attention.

I stood up and saw that she was at the verge of saying something when out of nowhere a giant dark blue snake like creature shot out of the middle of the water.

(y/n) fell on her butt and Patsy took a weird Y-stand looking up and calling out something which was undoubtedly weird or had something to do with "Faith".

Alissa screamed and tried to swim to the edge fast but as she climbed on it the snake had dropped himself before her and wound his body around hers.

"Alissa!" Danny shouted out next to me.

I wanted to run as fast as I could and drag (y/n) with me away from there but before I could make a move Mark had grabbed me and held me on my place. The same David and Giuseppe did with Danny and covered his mouth to keep him from shouting.

The cobra had slowly taken it's head down right next to (y/n) and my heart felt like it was going to explode from anxiety and fear for her. A feeling that I didn't quite recognize turned inside me. One thing I did know, I wanted to protect her.

It's white eyes looked at her and it's yellow tong hissed like he was smelling around.

Danny next to me broke free from David and Giuseppe's arms grabbed his spear running past the bags and on to the snake while shouting loudly. He ran at the snakes body who put himself up in the air again and stabbed him while shouting something at it.

"Let me go! I got to protect her!" I yelled at Mark.

I couldn't care about his own choices. I could only see (y/n) on the ground threatening to be squished by the animal's body as it came down. I couldn't break free from Mark who was at least ten times stronger than me.

"(y/n)!!!" I shouted at her hoping she would hear me with everything I had.

Luckily she did. She kicked Patsy in the stomach which made her fly back and jumped aside herself. Just millimeters away from her the snakes body landed a second later.

The cobra was now playing with Danny's body as Alissa slipped still strangled in it's body in the water. Suddenly (y/n) got her bow and an arrow and pointed it at the snakes body.

'She can't kill it with an arrow! She will pull it's attention to her!' I thought as I looked at her wide eyed.

Fighting Mark to get loose desperately I shouted at her not to do it but she didn't seem to hear me.

For an unimportant second she reminded me of the girl on the cover of Tomb raiders.

She shot the arrow and the cobra dropped Danny right before her feet. He was distracted but not for long as he made it's way back to Danny's body who had now grabbed onto (y/n) ankle.

Panic was finding it's way in and I just wanted to get out of here. The cobra pushed Danny's body up and (y/n) screamed a heart breaking scared scream as he devoured Danny and bit trough his wrist. It fled back into the water and everything was over.

I Pulled myself out of Mark's grip and ran to (y/n) to see if she had anything. My heart was beating in my throat as I reached her.

'How can I be so worried about her? I barely know her. Still, she must be Okay!' I thought. She screamed as she still had Danny's hand on her ankle.

I dropped to my knees next to her and grabbed her shoulders to turn her to me. She looked okay if you ignored the scared look on her face.

"Are you okay? Are hurt, did he bite you?" I heard myself ask like a complete idiot.

She stared at me for a second and then hugged me tight. I hugged her back, happy she was fine.

"I'm okay Ryan." She said a little shaky.

We loosened a bit and looked at each other. She had beautiful (e/c) eyes. My heart was beating fast, maybe from the adrenaline maybe from her. We slowly got a little closer, our noses almost touched. That was when I realized I liked her. A lot.

A.N

For some reason I have the song 'London bridge is falling down' in my head.. Yeah, don't even ask! But not the normal one but the one Sebastian sang from Black Butler. Don't know if that's the original though.
