Chapter 15 ~ Fun fair

James POV:
Me, Riley and A troupe are at the fair in town and its so amazing. I go over to Riley.
'I think I deserve a thank you'
'What for?' she asks confused.
'For getting you into A troupe. Look what you would have missed if I didnt!'
She smiles.
'Thank you'
'Your welcome princess'
She smiles as kisses me.
'Riley! Look at all this stuff!' Emily calls to her.
She runs over to her.
Eldon comes over to me.
'Hey bro' he says.
'I think Ive just thought of the perfect way to make the girls have fun' I smile.
'How?'
'Lets just say they might hate us but why not have fun while we're here?'
He smiles.
'What are we going to do?'
'That'
I point up to a really high speedy ride.
'Yes!'
'Ill get the girls'
'Ill get the boys'
I walk over to the girls.
'Yo. We're going on a ride. Lets go'
I drag them away from the stalls. When Riley sees what we're going on she looks at me.
'There is no way Im going on that thing! Look at it! Its terrifing!'
'Is it worse than the horror movie?'
'Yes!'
'Then your going on it!'
'Did you not just hear what I said!'
'Sorry Riley! I cant hear you over the noise! Lets go!'
She groans as I pull her onto the ride. We all take our seats. The ride goes up. She grabs my arm.
As it speeds down and spins around we all scream.
'OH MY GOD!' Riley screams.
When the ride is over we get off all dizzy.
'James! Im never doing that again!' Riley says.
I laugh.
'Yo! Lets go on the bumber cars!' I smile.
'Yeah! Boys against girls! Who ever hits the most people wins! Whoever looses has to pay for the rides for rest of the day!' West says.
Emily stands infront of him.
'Its on! Your going down West!'
'Ooooo. Fiesty!'
She hits him.
From what Riley has told me, Emily is a very competitive person. This will be interesting.
We pay for our ride. Riley and Michelle are in one car. Emily and Stephanie in another. Tiffany and Chloe in a car and Gisselle in one by herself. Me and Eldon are together. And West is by himself. The cars start. I drive towards Riley. She manages to move the car out of the way. I see four cars, all belonging to the girls driving towards us. Me and Eldon look at eachother.
'Shit!' we both say together. They crash into us.
'Boom!' they laugh.
They drive away.
I steer the car up behind Riley and Michelle and hit them.
'Ha! Got ya!'
They laugh.
The ride finishes and we get out of the car.
'So who wins?'
'Well the girls got me and Eldon so thats one point each. And me and Eldon hit Riley and Michelle so thats one point. So its girls four and boys one'
'Looks like someone has to pay for rides!' Emily says to West.
'Shutup! I only let you win because your back. Not because Im bad at it or anything' he says.
We laugh.
'James. I want to do that thing' Riley says to me pointing to a game.
I look at her.
'Really? Cant we go on a ride instead?'
'No!'
I sigh.
'Fine'
'And your paying!' she smiles.
'Im never going on bumper cars again' I say.
She laughs.
'How do you play?'
'You shoot the water into the hole and the toy moves up. Which ever one gets there first wins a prize' she smiles.
'Right lets play'
Me and the boys pay the money and begin.

Im handed a prize. I look at Riley.
'I can never do these' she says.
'Let me help you'
I pay money for another round and we go again.
I place my hands over hers on the water gun.
'Steady yourself Ri'
The water shoots out.
'Now keep it steady in the one position'
I slowely take my hands off hers and leave her do it.
I smile.
'Am I doing it?'
'Yeah! All by yourself!'
Hers reaches the top first.
She stands shocked.
'I did it! I actually did it!'
'Yeah you did!'
She smiles and jumps into my arms.
Shes handed a fluffy toy.
'Cute unicorn'
She smiles.
'I have something for you'
I hand her a toy rose that I won from the first game.
She gasps.
'But you won it'
'And I want you to have it'
'Thank you'
She kisses me and I smile.
'Hey guyes! Check this out!'
We look up and see a cool ride. It goes up and goes in a slow circle.
'Oooo! Lets go on it! Please!' Riley begs.
'Okay'
We all pay for it and take our seats.
The ride stars. Me and Riley are sitting together. We look down.
'Its beautiful up here' she says.
'Yeah it is'
She looks at me.
'Can I ask you something?'
'Sure'
'Why did you choose me to be your girlfriend?'
'Because your cute'
'And?'
'Your smart. Funny. And you always know how to make someone smile. Even though your life has sucked since your parents died its like you push it away and always puts on a happy face for others. Its like if they arent happy, you arent happy. You always find a way to make people laugh and cheer them up. Your just so amazing'
She smiles.
'You are too'
She kisses me.
The ride finishes.
'Anyone up for pizza?' Emily asks.
We all agree and go to a take away across the road. When we're done we go home.
I turn to Emily and Riley.
'Do you want to crash at mine tonight?'
They nod. I drive them back to mine.
'Hey guyes! How was it?' my mom asks.
'It was great fun'
'Are you hungry?'
'We've eaten'
'Allright then. Sleep well'
She walks off.
'Theres a spare room upstairs' I tell them.
They nod. I lead them upstairs to the room.
'Im just getting a drink' Emily says. She leaves the room. I turn to Riley.
'Ill leave you get ready for bed'
She grabs my arm as I walk off. She attaches her lips to mine.
She looks at me.
'Thank you for today'
'It was Kates idea'
'But you made it great'
I smile.
She kisses me again.
'Goodnight James'
'Goodnight princess'
She smiles as I leave the room. Im met by Emily smiling.
'You too are so cute'
'You didnt really get a drink did you?'
'Nope. Id rather spy on my sister and her boyfriend instead'
I smile.
'Goodnight Em'
'Goodnight James'
She dissapears into her room. I smile and shake my head as I walk into my room.
Today was the best day ever.
