Chapter 13 ~ Returning to dance

James POV:
Its Saturday and Im just hanging with Riley at home watching a movie. Its one of thoes ones that girls always breakdown over and the guyes dont see anything upsetting about it.
Riley is holding a box pf tissues in her hand and wont stop crying.
'Whats so upsetting about it?' I ask.
'Everything' she says still crying.
I roll my eyes.
'James! Will you take your sister to dance? I have to go shopping' mom says.
'K!'
I sit up.
'But this isnt over yet!' Riley complains.
'If Piper is late Im going to get the blame. And I dont want that!'
She sighs and stands up.
'I hate you'
'I know'
She kisses me.
'James? Are you ready?'
I see Piper standing at the door waiting.
'Yeah. Lets go'
The three of us get in the car and I drive us to the studio.
We go inside. Piper goes off to find her friends. I see Riley going into an empty studio A. She looks around but seems sad.
'You okay?'
'I used to dance here'
'You did?'
'Yeah. And so did Emily. It was the one place that we felt free. But when mom and dad died we had to stop cause it was too expencive'
'Do you miss it?'
'More than anything'
I nod.
'You should re-join'
'But I dont have enough money'
'You mightnt. But my family does'
'Your not paying for my dance classes!'
'Why not!'
'Cause you have to pay for Pipers!'
'Have you ever wondered where I go every evening after study?' I ask.
She nods.
'Here. I dance here too. So my parents have to also pay for me'
'You go here!'
'Surprise'
'Your still not paying for my classes!'
'James!'
I turn around and see Kate
'Hi!' I smile.
'Riley! I havent seen you in ages! How are you!' she asks hugging her.
'Im good!'
'Actually Miss Kate. Riley is re-joining dance' I smile.
'Really! Thats amazing!'
'And Emily'
'This is great news!'
Riley looks at me.
'Ill sign you up and Ill see both of you this afternoon for rehersal' she smiles going into her office.
'James!'
'Trust me Ri. Youll thank me'
She sighs.
I take Riley back to the appartment.
'Em! Im home!' Riley calls.
'Hey Ri!'
Emily has no work today so she gets to just chill.
'Em I need to tell you something' Riley says.
'Okay'
'James has just signed us up to dance again'
'What! How are we going to pay for it! I dont have that kind of money!'
'Thats why Ill be paying for it' I tell her.
'You?'
'Well not me. But my parents'
'Have you told them?'
'No. But Im sure theyll understand. You guyes deserve to do things that you enjoy. And if dance is something you like then thats what youll do. Miss Kate has you signed up and shell see you this afternoom for class'
'Thank you James'
'Its what I do'
They both hug me.
I cant wait till everyone sees whos joining again.
