It was a morning like this I could be related to one of my favorite poet's -Carmen Penchi aka Sunshine, poems on this fine February morning. It goes something like this:
Dear Monday,
So we meet again...
I wish I could say that I'm happy to see you,
but that would be a lie. We go through this every week!
I don't like you! Yes, it's personal as you end my weekend!
Unless you are a holiday stay away!
I have been trying to break up with you,
but you keep coming back... what am I going to do with you?
Every time I turn around, you're there! I need some space,
no, It's not you, it's me.....no, wait.....it is you.
Please find a hobby and get out of my life
or I will have to get a restraining order!
No matter how many times you show up,
or what you may bring, I still cannot find it in my heart to like you.
Even After having multiple cups of coffee,
Monday, you still don't look pretty to me!
Sorry Monday, it had to be said, this must come to an end.
Your not so loving friend.
I didn't choose to return to school since that day. I told my mother the situation and she knew that this was a new experience for me, to which she is an awesome supportive mother, allowed me to stay home and made an excuse about a stomach bug I had.
From what I heard from Clay and Hannah, Jeff had been more focused on his work and training and even called things off with his now ex-girlfriend who desperately pleaded with him to take her back.
But that was now beneath my concern, all I could do was move forward, especially with all this love within the air.
"So...you remember the Oh My Dollar Valentines?" Hannah whispered while she and I were in the library working on an art project for our Art class, "The one you fill out a survey, and for just a buck, you get the name and number of your one true soul mate."
"That sounds oh so romantic..."I replied sarcastically.
"Look," Hannah started, "It a two parter: Describe yourself and describe what you're looking for in someone else."
"I am not doing it," I said knowing she was implying for me to do it.
"Come on!" Hannah pushed, "you're gonna make me do it all by myself, some friend."
"Don't do that..."
"Come on!" she pushed.
"Fine," I whined, "After I take all my makeup tests."
"Yes!" Hannah cheered while pulling a red-piece of paper out of her folder and pushed it to you, "Meet me 4th-period lunch and we will bring it together."
I rolled my eyes at her behavior as she headed to class to fill out the paper while I walked towards Chemistry to take my exam, passing by the other students.

Here I am looking at this piece of paper answering the questions as that weren't based on factual evidence but personal feelings and desires.
