Chapter 7
Niall's POV
I smiled as I skimmed my thumb down the direct message page. It went on and on. It never seemed to end. ForeverAlone and I talked a lot.
I still wanted to know her name. It seemed rude to refer to her as ForeverAlone. I wanted to call her something else, but she wouldn't give me her damn name! She had to stop being so paranoid. She could trust me.
I went through her tweets. She posted everyday, sometimes more than once. I always favorited them and retweeted them. She had some pretty good advice.
I happened upon ForeverAlone's music video. Oops. Giggling like an idiot, I inserted my earbuds and listened to her sing. I wished I could buy this song on iTunes. I loved to listen to her sing.
Someone knocked on my door.
"Go away!" I shouted. I popped an earbud out of my ear. "I'm busy here!"
They came in anyway. They was Harry.
"Hey, Ni," he sang, towering over me.
"What?" I asked.
"Do you want to go out to Nando's with the rest of us? It's a special treat from Simon. I still can't believe he's letting us go!"
"Nah," I said nonchalantly. I put my earbud back in. "Just bring me back some carry-out or something."
Harry stared at me. Then he screamed, "Liam! I think Niall's sick!"
"What?" I exclaimed again. "No, I'm not! I'm fine."
Liam, Zayn, and Louis sprinted into my room, totally invading my privacy.
"Go away!" I ordered again. "Can't a lad have some alone time?"
"You have alone time nearly 24 hours a day," Liam informed me. "Get over it."
"Niall doesn't want to come with us to Nando's," Harry reported.
Everyone gasped. I rolled my eyes. Oh, come on, it wasn't that big of a deal!
"Yeah, it is," Louis countered.
"Did I say that out loud?" I asked. They ignored my question.
"You sick, Nialler?" Zayn asked in concern, putting a hand to my forehead. "You're not burning up."
"I told you, I'm fine," I said. I pushed his hand away.
"Clearly you're not," Liam objected. "You don't want to go to Nando's. What is your problem?"
"Not hungry, I guess," I said with a shrug.
They all gasped again and I face-palmed. They were acting like the world was ending! Why did it matter so much if I was hungry or not, or if I wanted to go to Nando's or not?
"You're always hungry," Harry said. "I think he has a fever."
"To the contrary," Zayn said. "He isn't hot at all."
"Offensive!" I yelled. "I am smoking hot!"
"No, you're not," Louis told me. "You're adorable."
I glared at him. "I will pop you in the nose," I warned him.
"See! Your threat was so cute!" Louis cooed.
"Maybe it's the flu," Liam said thoughtfully.
"I'm not sick," I sighed. "How many times have I got to tell you?"
"Oh my gosh!" Harry suddenly yelled. "He's in denial! He's dying!"
"No, I'm not!" I shouted over him. "I'm not hungry and I don't want to go to Nando's! Now go without me!" I made a shooing motion with my hands.
