"Did you guys vote already?" Vivoree asks the whole table.

"For what?" Yong asks.

"The homecoming king and queen guys. Well, of course the nominees are the prom king and queen of our batch, Edward and Maymay. Marco and I are also nominees, though I know we will already lose because who will beat these lovebirds? Right? Also, Tanner is nominated and so is uhm, what's her name again? Cora!" she exclaims. "Oh, and for some reason Christian and Kisses are nominated as well. I wonder who will win" she pouts.

"Hey hun, relax! I don't care who wins, you know you are the only queen in my life" Marco pulls Vivoree closer to him.

And despite Marco's attempt to be cute, Vivoree still punches him. "Queen my ass" she says as she kisses his hair.

"Oh gosh! Before, it's these two" Aizan mutters as he points at Maymay and Edward, and "now you two as well!" he adds as he points at Marco and Vivoree.

"We are innocent!" Maymay mutters with a smile.

Edward puts his arm around Maymay's shoulder, "Right now!" he winks.

Maymay then pinches Edward, causing him to laugh, "Can you stop?" she asks as she blushes.

"I'm just kidding love" he says as he pulls Maymay closer to him and kisses her cheek. "I like this, you being this close to me" he whispers to her.

"You always take advantage of the fact that everyone around here are thinking we are back together." she whispers.

"No Maymay, I mean it. I like this, when you are this close, and I can feel your warmth next to me. I miss this." Edward utters as he pulls Maymay closer to him. "I love you May, always." he plants his lips on her cheek.

"Can you two stop?" Yong complains.

"Sorry, sorry" Edward mutters as he waves his hand in the air, and placing himself comfortably beside Maymay.

Maymay feels a little uncomfortable, "Guys, I'll just get myself a drink" she states when she stands up.

"I'll get it" Edward offers.

"No Edward, stay. I also want to walk and stretch my legs a little" she smiles at him.

"Okay, be quick" he utters as he grabs Maymay's hand and squeezes it a little.

"Edward, she's just getting a drink." Aizan says lightly.

Maymay smiles at them before walking away from their table. In reality, she actually feels like she needs air, it is like she's claustrophobic all of a sudden. She walks out of the hall and decides to walk towards the school garden.

She stands in front of the grotto located in the garden and smiles. Memories from her time in high school are suddenly flooding her mind. Specifically, her graduation day--one of the most emotional day of her life. Graduation day was full of goodbyes, new beginnings, and promises.

"May! Baby! We are all looking for you! The ceremony is about to start!" Edward says as he runs towards Maymay and hugging her from behind.

"Hey baby.. sorry, I just feel nostalgic all of a sudden. Did you know I attended Divine since kindergarten? And now, saying goodbye to it.." Maymay sighs, "it's hard" she turns around and faces Edward.

"Hey baby" he starts as he tucks Maymay's hair behind her ear, "it will be okay. You know what they say? Endings are also beginnings, and now as we say goodbye to this chapter of our lives, we are also about to welcome something else" he smiles.
