"I hate you brother. From then to now, your timing honestly sucks." Edward tells Marco as they walk to the elevator of the resort.

"Why?" Marco asks.

"I was just about to put the moves." Edward smirks.

"So, all those 4 hour that you guys were locked up in that room, all you did was sleep? Honestly bro! What happened to you?" Marco laughs out loud.

"Still the same gentleman from way back then asshole!" he laughs.

"A gentleman doesn't swear bro" Marco retorts back, "by the way, I haven't got a chance to talk to you Edward. We need to talk." he says seriously.

"Shit! I thought I dodged a bullet from you." Edward answers back.

"Not a chance, I love Maymay. She is like a sister I never had, and what you did to her..not cool man." Marco tells him.

"I know, but for now, can we just have dinner? and enjoy? and forget that I was once this awful monster in your lives." he asks.

"As long as that monster stays in the past Edward." Marco smiles, "and besides, I am starving." he informs him as they reach the restaurant outdoors.

Edward and Marco pulls Maymay and Vivoree's chair for them. "I told you, still a gentleman" Edward whispers to Marco.

"Too much bromance going on here." Vivoree exclaims.

"Why hun? Jealous?" Marco asks.

"Me? Jealous? Of Edward?" Vivoree exclaims jokingly. "Never. I am sure of myself and you." she adds, causing Marco to blush.

"How about you love?" Edward asks.

"How about me?" Maymay asks.

"Were you also, you know--jealous?" he asks.

"Of Marco? No." Maymay answers shortly.

"Good, because--"

"Because like Vivoree said, she is sure about him and their relationship." Maymay finishes.

And silence fills the air. Fenech, Aizan, Yong, and Lois suddenly walk to their table as well.

"Oh, and who is this handsome one over here?" Lois asks gushingly.

"Oh, that's Edward." Fenech introduces. "Edward, my cousin, Lois."

Lois extends her hand and bats her eyelashes at him, "Oh hello, nice to meet you." she smiles.

"Same." Edward smiles back. "Like Fenech said, I'm Edward--"

"My boyfriend." Maymay adds, suddenly standing up beside Edward and marking her territory.

"Well, your boyfriend is very handsome. Lucky you." Lois adds flirtatiously.

"Lucky me." Maymay answers in a calm but territorial tone.

"Awkward." Yong mutters, causing Maymay to give him a death glare. "Woah, calm down. I said, let's eat already." he smiles.

Maymay rolls her eyes as she takes her seat again, while Edward displays a playful smirk on his face.

"So now, are you jealous?" he whispers as he takes his seat beside her.

"One more word Edward and you'll find yourself sleeping outside today." she answers.

Edward just stares at her eyes while smiling.

"What?" she asks.

Edward gestures as if he is zipping his mouth, signifying that he can't speak.
