Veil and Vows

Nagsimula na ang kasal.

Ang tema ng kasal nila ay medyo makaluma, mas gusto kasi ni Karylle ng ganoon. Halos mapuno nila ang simbahan sa dami ng malalapit nilang kaibigan. Lahat ng abay at flower girls ay nakaputi na may part ng aqua blue. Everything is perfect. The setting. The witnesses. The couple.

Magkahawak-kamay sila habang nakikinig sa pari na malapit sa kanila na si Fr. Roland.

Mula sa pagsindi ng kandila, pagkabit ng belo, hanggang sa pagsuot sa kanila ng cord. Natatawa sina Vice kada lapit sa kanila ng mga kaibigan nila lalo na si Vice kasi binubulungan siya ng mga balahura niyang kaibigan. Sina Teddy, Vhong at Ejay Falcon.

Beginning of their vows...

Fr. Roland: Karylle, do you accept Vice as your husband in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

Karylle: Yes *habang nakatingin kay Vice* I do.

Fr. Roland: *tumingin kay Vice* Vice....?

Sa hindi maipaliwanag na dahilan, natawa ang lahat ng mga oras na 'yon.

Fr. Roland: Vice... do you accept Karylle as your wife in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

Bago sumagot si Vice nagbigay siya ng odd face. Nagpunas siya ng noo at huminga ng malalim. Hinampas siya ni Karylle. Natatawa na talaga lahat lalo pa ng lumingon sa mga tao si Vice parang sinasabi, 'Ano sasagutin ko na ba?' Pati na si Fr. Rolang natatawa.

Vice: Father... no choice. *hinampas na naman ni K* Hahaha... Yes... I do!!! *nilakasan ang boses*

Karylle: Vice... *habang sinusuot ang singsing sa daliri nito* wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Inihanda naman nina Zia at Billy ang susunod na singsing na isusuot naman ni Vice para kay K.

Vice: Karylle... *habang sinusuot ang singsing sa daliri nito* wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Their Eternal Vows...

Fr. Roland: Now, it's time for Vice and Karylle to express their personal vows to each other.

Iniabot ni Zia ang isang papel kung saan nakasulat ang vows ni Karylle.

Karylle: *binuksan ang papel at tumingin kay Vice* Babe... *lumunok muna dahil medyo kinakabahan* it's time. We are here to face a new chapter in our lives. It's been almost five years since we worked together at Showtime. I never thought, even imagined, that you're going to look at me as a man. You were so gay, that loving a man was so divine. We've been good friends. And being with you, always seem to be a fantasy. Maybe you'd ask why... Because whenever I'm with you, feels like, there's always a happy ever after.  And like now, I am here standing in front of my Prince Charming. *ngumiti kay Vice* Babe, we'd been struggling for this relationship to last. We're not perfect though. You make me cry at times and I hurt you for some reason, but still, we chose to be here in front of them and in front of God to show that what we have is more than just a love story.
