xiii. The Deep End

For the last couple of days, me and Dipper have been checking out more and more places around town and getting to know each other a lot more. I now know the basic crap about him.

Besides hanging out with him, I would hang out with Lucas and Barbra and we formed our little friendship triangle, I was planning on bringing Dipper into it but I never really had the right time for it.

Mabel, on the other hand, has been having a ton of sleepover at our house and Candy and Grenda would use our beds so me and Dipper would always sleep on the roof which was starting to hurt my back because of how often we slept up there.

I need a new room, jeez.

Today was the hottest day of the summer. Soos laid on the ground in his underwear with his face on the floor, which was probably cooler than the air. Stan laid on his back on the floor with an empty box of ice cream. Mabel was sitting on the floor with her head resting on the coach wearing a tank top and shorts. Dipper was sitting on the coach with his shirt off and he was fanning himself with his hat.

I was too exhausted and hot to examine him without a shirt on. I was the smart one and I sat in front of the vent trying to get as much cool air as possible, even though it was mostly warm air. I was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and I had my hair up.

Stan growled. "All in favor of doing nothing all day say ugh."

We all groaned in response, sounding like zombies.

The tv started up, no one moving a muscle because of how hot we all were. "On the bright side, pun very much intended, its opening week at the Gravity Falls pool."

I laughed uncontrollably at the pun but once I got strange looks from the others I surely stopped.

Everyone picked up their heads from doing whatever while Grunkle Stan practically jumped up. "Quick to the car!"

Everyone got on their bathing suit and ran into the car.

We all arrived at the pool, Soos carrying a duck floaty as we made our way towards the chairs.

"Wow, wow, wow! Stop the presses! Who's that?" Mabel said pointing in the direction of the pool.

We all looked over and saw a boy with a raft, he was a long haired brunette with a mustache, I wouldn't be surprised if he's some mythical creature, since Mabel can never find a boy that's not magical or something like gnomes. Haha mythical creature, yeah right. When pigs fly.

"Oh yeah. Word is, dude never leaves the pool. People say he's a mysterious loner." Soos says, stopping next to Mabel as they marveled over the loner.

"Him? Ok you go do that while I go throw up." I commented truthfully, earning a snicker from Dipper.

Mabel laughed, ignoring what I had said. "Is it getting hot out here or is it just that guy?"

"It's the hottest day of the year, Mabel. Can't you go for one week without having a new crush on some random guy?" Dipper asked, clearly annoyed with Mabels boy obsession.

Mabel shook her head in response and started jumping over everyone and ran to the loner.

I could hear Dipper's eye roll from beside me. "Eh, Mabels all talk. Wanna hear a secret? She's never kissed a guy before. She always messes it up somehow."

Bit harsh but I'm not one to talk about being harsh.

"Oh and you've already had your first kiss, huh?" I joked. seeming that he was getting pushy with Mabel and her attempts to get a man.
