*Austin's POV*

"I don't wanna lose her. I love her." I had to tell someone about my problem. Even being the jerk he is, I went to Alex.

"And?"

"And, she might go on tour with Colton and I want her here. With me."

"Dude, I hate to tell you, but I think you already lost your chance."

"What do you mean?"

"I saw Ashlee come in today, all smiling and happy. Then I overheard her talking to Heather and Samantha, and she said she told him yes."

"No. No she can't."

"She also said something else."

"What?" I asked looking at him wide-eyed.

"That he asked her to be his girlfriend."

"Please, don't say anything if she said yes."

Silence for a few seconds.

"Of course. She would say yes."

"Well if I was her, I think I would've said yes, too."

"Why?"

"Because, you said she told you that when she started talking to Colton, that you went back to hitting on her."

"Well that's kinda true. But, I still love her."

"Well you better try and get her back before the summer. Or, I guess she's Colton's."

"Oh, I'm gonna get her back. I don't know how, but I will. Hopefully."

*Ashlee's POV*

When I was in geometry earlier, I, of course, had to tell Sam and Heather what had happened with Colton the day before.

"-and I guess it just kinda happened like that."

"Wait, so you basically just dumped Austin, then got right with Colton?" Heather asked.

"Not right with him. I mean, I didn't even know he liked me until he admitted it right in front of me. I didn't really think I liked him at first until I got to know him."

"So you are going tour with him?"

"I told him I would. I mean, I really wanted to, though, so I guess even if I wasn't his girlfriend, I probably would've still said yes."

"Hey Ash?"

"Yeah Sam?"

"Ok, I know you may say no, but I thought I'd ask. I've seen Colton's drummer, and I thought maybe if I could-"

"Yes, I'll see if Colton will let me bring a friend."

"Yes! Thank you!"

"No problem."

"Hey, what about me?"

"You have a boyfriend. But, I can see if Colton can give you tickets."

"I can live with that."

"Hey, by the way, where is Cody?"

"Oh, yeah he's on trip in Cali or somewhere for a while to tour the college he wants to go to."

"That's pretty far from Florida. Are you okay with that?"

"I don't know yet. I mean, I know that's where ye wants to go. I'm just not sure I'll be used to a long distance relationship."

"You'll still have a couple years, but, it'll be ok."

"I know. Thanks."

After school, I headed to my locker where, of course, I saw Austin. I didn't want a repeat of yesterday, so I tried ignoring him as much as I could.

Epic fail.

"Ashlee, we need to talk."

"Fine. Because I need to tell you something."

"You go first."

I sighed. I have to tell him.

"I told Colton I would go on tour with him. And, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes."

"I know."

"You know?"

"Alex told me."

"Wait, how did he find out?"

"Said he overheard you talking to Samantha and Heather."

"Of course. Jerk."

"I know he is."

"You think?"

"Look, Ashlee, please don't leave me."

"Oh and why shouldn't I? You're just gonna break my heart again for like however many times you did before."

"I didn't do it that many times."

"Oh, please."

"Come on, Ashlee."

"No. I said I was done with you. And I am. We're done. Colton's my boyfriend now. I'm going on tour with him and that's final."

I started walking off when Austin ran and grabbed me, turning me around and his lips landed on mine.
