Meeting Alexis

Holly's POV

I'm meeting Alexis tonight, I'm so nervous. I really look up to her, so I would really be thanking god if she doesn't like me.

"Hey Dad."

"Alexis!" Castle pulled Alexis into a big hug.

God I didn't even know she knocked on the door.

"Alexis?" Beckett came out of the kitchen.

"Hi Detective Beckett," Alexis greeted her.

"How many times have I told you Kate is fine by me?" Beckett hugged Alexis.

"Um... Alexis? Meet Holly, she is a temporary orphan on our case," Castle introduced me.

"Hi," I said shyly as I got up from the couch.

"Hi, I'm Alexis," she stuck out her hand.

"I'm Holly Morris," I shook her hand.

"And guess what? We're a TV show!"

"What?"

I started to tell Alexis everything when we sat down for dinner.

"So I was hitchhiking after school and since I was so busy watching TV on my phone, I ended up in New York and came across a dead body. I called 911 and Kate here with Detective Esposito and Detective Ryan were the investigating officers. Here I am," I said.

"Okay, so what did Dad say about a TV show?"

"In LA, where I live, you're all a TV show called Castle. I'm a huge fan."

"Cool! So who are the actors playing us?"

"Alexis you're played by Molly Quinn, Kate here is Stana Katic, Rick is Nathan Fillion, Detective Esposito is played by Jon Huertas and Detective Ryan is Seamus Dever. Pretty awkward huh?"

"Nice, what about Jenny, Lanie, Gates and Mother?" Castle asked enthusiastically.

"Jenny is played by Juliana Dever, Juliana is Seamus's wife in real life. Lanie is played by Tamala Jones, Captain Gates is Penny Johnson-Jerald and Martha is Susan Sullivan."

"So let me get this straight, Jenny's actress who played her and Ryan's actor who plays him are married in real life?" Kate asked.

"Yeah, they got married in 2006."

"Way before Ryan and Jenny got married here."

"Anyway Holly," Alexis said, "What's your favorite class in school?"

"Definitely biology," I answered.

"I'm okay with it, I don't mean that I hate it but I don't particularly like it. What's your favorite band?"

"Don't have a favorite band but my favorite singer is Taylor Swift."

"Mine is Ashley's and my song."

"I know! I love that song!"

"I remember when we were sitting there by the water

You put your arm around me for the first time

You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter..." Alexis sang.

"You are the best thing that has ever been mine," I finished the last line.

"You two sure sing nice."

"Wait, a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter?" Castle asked.

"Dad is not about you, Ashley and I had our first kiss when this song was played," Alexis said.

"Well the lyrics seem to be a problem."

"Anyway I'll be staying here tonight Dad."

"Cool."

"So them my nickname became Pumpkin," Alexis explained.

We were having chocolate ice cream in our PJs in Alexis' room, like a Girls' Night.

"That's so cute, I never realized that was why your nickname is Pumpkin!"

"Anyway, tell me more about the TV show."

"Well it's almost the season finale of season six. And we are guessing about the wedding, like when will it be aired and all that."

"Nice... it's weird seeing myself as a TV show, especially focusing on my dad and Beckett's relationship."

And it's weird being in a TV show, I'm guessing will myself really be on aired in the real world.
