Toshiro's eye twitched. At the moment he was standing in the middle of the team's work area- the team's empty work area still in regulation uniform.
Truthfully, he was pissed, scratch that, beyond pissed.

After Colonel Blackstone's mission, he had taken the first train back, that was a whole bl**** three days ago, the same train decided to break down half way. Let's say that from there, it felt like the world went sideways.

He growled lowly and walked out of the work area. He raised his hand at the first soldiers that walked towards him- Sergeant Acan.

"Do you have any idea were Colonel Mustang amd his team might be?" He asked to the physically older man.

"No, sorry, I don't know, but I heard that they were looking for someone if that helps." Toshiro sighed and thanked the man. He walked inside and as soon as the man was out of hearing range, he slammed his hand as hard as he could at the door in frustration. Not his style but lately it was probably better than getting into an unnecessary fight.

He sighed again and set on his new position, the Elric brothers, no better yet, he needed to check on Mrs Gracia. With his new position in mind he ran towards it only slowing to nod to higher ups, he shook his head as he ran, in the time he was here, all the soldiers had gotten way to close to him, close to the point that they never bothered to question him when he ran in the buildings or they would randomly ask him to go on missions with them, it was really strange as that included the higher ups. To be honest, it was easier here than back in the Shinigami world as no one questioned his age, he was free to act how he wanted and never be degraded for it, skills won here over appearance and it was good.

Toshiro slowed down as he came close to the building that Mrs Garcia stayed. He walked inside, waving at the clerks as he headed to his appartment.

He stood at the door and took a breath This was never so hard, it's like everything built just crashed when we lost Maes. He just felt so da** useless when it came to talking to Mrs Gracia, it was even worst than when Matsumoto lost Gin, at least Matsumoto made an attempt to hold herself together for her Captain but now- it was like Mrs Gracia didn't even notice him there anymore.

The door handle rattled and Toshiro braced himself as it opened. Mrs Gracia had her head down as she fixed her bag with one hand, the other holding Elsia. She had not realized he was standing there. "Big bwother!" Elias smiled, Toshiro put on a big smile, no matter how fake it was.

"Oh hello Elijah." She made him sound like a stranger.

"Hey, I came to just check you-"

"I'm going to get flowers for Maes, I guess I'll see you later." Da** why did that sting so much?

"O-oh, ok, I was wondering if you saw the Elric-"

"Did you know that Maes had really liked my miso soup. Should I make some?" She had completely ignored him, he had known her for a few years and this is where it got him and for some reason, only him.

He sighed heavily "Yea, that sounds good. Bye Mrs Gracia." With that she left with Elsia looking back at him sadly.

He had gotten to attached to this world, he was acting like a human and he knew that one day it would bite him really hard in the a** but she only ignored him, so that he could handle, poor Elsia needed the extra attention right now.

He must have stood there for at least ten minutes literally staring at the floor as he clenched his fists. "S-storm?" A voice whipered to his left. His head turned so fast to see the person that he was surprised that he didn't get whiplash. It was Winry.

"Win-" a silver, hard metal object connected with his head. Stunned he fell to the ground, hands covering the afflicted area, pain soaring through his head.
"What-the......"
