(A/n: I really need better titles for these chapters, anyone has any ideas?)

The soldiers moved steadily down the long flight of box stairs. Edward glanced upwards from where they entered not long ago, when they entered the Furhur's office, it was empty and in anger Edward had kicked the desk harshly, beneath it was a trap-door and this flight of stairs that lead to the tunnels. The stairs were large enough to fight almost an entire army and that was what they were doing right now.

It was a few minutes before the uniformed sound of marching was interrupted by a calm voice. The marching stopped to listen "My apologies, but this is as far as the both of us can go."

Edward turned to face Izumi and Sid. "Why, is something wrong?"

"Wrong? No. Mearly we cannot put the baby in more stress than we already have."

Edward nodded in understanding before the words fully comprehended. "I see, yes the ba...... wait... WHAT? A BABY!?" Edward's face has gone pale.

"Indeed." Sid replied in a rumbling voice.

"Congratulations!" The Commander smiled, a little miffed that Izumi had recklessly risked the life in her belly.

"Indeed my lady. This is joyous news indeed!" Said Armstrong, ever in his glory.

Edward, now much calmer, noticed the small belly bump that was slightly hidden in Izumi's slack dress. He was smiling so hard, his face hurt. "How?"

"That alchemist, Storm, he is quite the healer." With that news, Izumi waved to everyone before creating an alchemic tunnel to a save place above  before Sid and herself stepped through, the tunnel closing behind them, though not before Edward saw the fond look on Sid's face at Izumi.

After that news, the soldiers continued down the flight of stairs, making sure that it was safe passage. Upon arrival, the soldiers, the Commander and Armstrong all stopped as Edward crossed the line that ended the stairs and started the tunnels.

"I guess this is where we part ways then?" Edward turned to face them.

"Indeed, Blackstone's soldiers must return to their posts and myself and my brother must lead our soldiers." The Commander looked at him.

Edward smiled before he stood in salut, every other solider copied the movement. "Until we meet again."

With the soldiers gone, Edward began to run, hoping to buy extra time, thanks to his stamina he built over the years, it shouldn't be to much trouble.
As he ran in silence, the sound of his shoes echoing on the walls, he thought about his brother out there, the team and Storm, the alchemist that had done so much for him and his brother without asking for anything in return.

He was pulled out of his musings by movement ahead. The tall figure turned to face him, cloak over his head and an a hand poised to attack.
Edward skidded to a stop, about to attack before the figure held a hand up, exposing tattoos.

"Scar?" Edward squinted at him. Scar grunted in response. "What are you doing here?"

"Saving this idiotic country." Scar waited quietly till Edward was at his side before before both jogged forward.

"Not planning to kill me, I'm still an alchemist after all." Edward glanced at the hulking, grumpy figure beside him.

"And so is Ace." Was his only reply.

Ace? Oh yea, Storm. Where was Storm and could his story with Scar- no Vadim possibly be.

"I'm curious, what's your story with Storm- uh Ace by the way?" Edward voiced his thoughts. He could immediately feel the man's glare of his head. "Without the death glare of course."

"None of your business."

"Come on, I work with the guy, the least you could do is tell me something about him. After all, he knows my whole life story and I don't even know the guy's first name." Edward grumbled, not knowing that Scar heared him clearly.

"He worked side-by-side with my brother, saved my life and others countless times, he was one of our best assassins, insanely smart, thought me to never doubt his judgement. He's a great person, you should see it as an honour to work at his side." Edward blinked at the sudden information, Scar's voice clear that he was not going to say anymore.

They continued for a minute more in silence before the sounds of a skuffle and cackling laugher echoed through the tunnels. Scar and Edward glanced at each other before sprinting  towards the sound. What they saw was the last thing they expected, it was none other than Storm fighting Envy.

Edward holds his hands up to use alchemy, the movement catches Envy's eyes and he turns to face the new comers. Envy cackles madly, shakes his head and suddenly runs off deeper into the tunnels.

Edward stopped, a little miffed and a little freaked out because that was really strange. Storm throws himself at the place that Envy stood just a second ago and almost sprints off after him but stops instead, hand swinging in anger as he spat words that was neither of Amestrian or church worthy in any way.
......

Toshiro growled as Envy ran off, he'd finally managed to corner him and then the two of them showed up, really it wasn't their fault but he couldn't help glaring at them before sighing and waving a hand at them as an indication to keep walking.

"It's been awhile." Were Edward's first words to him. Toshiro nodded, Scar walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder as a greeting before jogging forward. Toshiro waited till Edward was beside him before jogging on as well, a small distance away from Scar.

Edward glanced at the brace on his hand, the ice storm alchemist rolled his eyes, he only left the brace on so his hand would be fully functional for the final fight but it was no more than an annoyance now. In a huff of irritation, he pulled the brace off his hand to his left on the ground. "I see your doing better." He glaced at Edward, to where the old stab wound was.

"Quite a bit of healing you can do there, I heard what you did for teacher." Edward glanced at Toshiro.

"So she told you."

"Not in the most pleasant of ways but yes. Oh yea, thanks for the back-up of soldiers, Blackstones and Briggs, amazing." Edward smirked.

"Just doing my job."

A yell came from up ahead, Scar was calling for them, both glanced at each other before sprinting forwards. The sight that greeted them was not the best. Edward and Toshiro looked on in a sort of horror. On the ground lay Colonel Mustang and sitting to his side was Riza, blood covering her neck and chest.

A cackling laughter broke them put of their thoughts. Not more than a couple feet away stood Pride, Envy and the Furhur of the country- Wrath.
"Well what a sight!" Pride grinned.

Edward clenched his fists, "Pride is mines, that little bas***** is going to get it now."

Toshiro and Scar looked at each other, dispite the want, almost need to distroy Envy, he needed to know what was Scar's plan, if he couldn't fight Wrath then the job would fall to him.

Scar made to decision, moving infront of Roy and Riza, he took a defence pose, the Furhur it was. Toshiro nodded to him and faced Envy. Finally good revenge for Maes.

"I honestly cannot belive that I have to protect and Alchemist." Scar's voice rumbled as he faced the Furhur.

Toshiro scoffed and rolled his eyes. "I was an alchemist even when I was on your side, I didn't see there being a problem then.

This was going to be quite an interesting fight.
