    Author's note: just wanted to apologize because the story was supposed to mainly about Toshiro so from now on it would mostly be from his side, but it would still be third person and I would also refer to him as his given name

Well let's begin!

   Previously....
      Izumi attacked Greed, sending him into a wall. "Don't know what connection you have with this man Storm but I'm taking him down!"

    "My pleasure. He should be no match for you!" Storm called, "Come Ed, we must find Al!"   with that they both left Izumi to fight Greed

   Presently...

  "Stop where you are!" Yelled soldiers, effectively cornering Edward and Izumi. Greed made his leave at that moment with a simple 'Until we meet again.' As irritating as it was, they had no time to stop him.

    Toshiro refused to take defeat as an answer, especially when the soldiers had not even noticed him yet. He sent a look to Edward to give him as idea that he was planning something. Fortunately Edward noticed right away and gave a slight nod.

   Toshiro glanced around and saw it, his moment to leave. A soldier was not watching them.
   'There!' was the only though in his mind and with that he was off.

   "HEY!" one of the soldiers shouted but he did not turn around.  With the thinnest layer of flexible ice, manipulated by his hand, he clapped his hands and on his coat he gave the illusion that it was black, with that he disappeared into the darkness of the tunnel.

   He thought about his mission at the moment, the Elric brothers , Edward was safe but Alphonse however.....

   Toshiro shook his head in irritation, he could bearly even sence the younger brother muchless even think of where to look for him. 'I think my life just likes messing with me.' He was spending to much time and spiritual energy in this world to last much longer, a few years perhaps but it was still frustrating. He shook his head again, this was definitely not the time to think those things.

   A new presence suddenly entered his senses. 'That's it!' He locked onto the living energy of the snake chimera that was currently taking residents in Alphonse's empty armor, with that he was running into the new direction.

  .... Only to almost take a header into a wall of very much concrete. 'ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!!'

   He huffed and took a next direction 'Why would soldiers be down here?' Toshiro wondered 'Could have someone found out the true purpose of "Devil's Nest"?' Toshiro remembered the reason he had known Greed and the reason why he was such a bothersome to the evil 'man'

   Flashback

    'So what do you think?' Greed asked Toshiro.
     'Sorry, but I'll have to pass." Toshiro scowled. He was supposed to be on a simple find and subdue target mission with Hughes but he somehow got pulled into this whole new world- no irony intended- and asked to simply give up everything he built in the last three years.
   'Why is someone as rear as you risking your life for something as silly as the military' sighed Greed 'When you could just live here and get everything you could ever want.'
    'Maybe you should of asked what I wanted before you decided to put your own wants onto me.' He replied in a similar sarcastic tone as Greed.
    Greed growled ' You're willing to give up living with your own kind? With the other chimeras?'
    'You know something,' Toshiro gritted his teeth 'I might've but the moment you compared me to them, you made you biggest mistake.' With that he began walking away. 'There will always be a difference between me and your chimera friends.'
     'And what wil that be, your height?' scoffed Greed as he stared at Toshiro's retreating back.
     'You wish,' he huffed 'You forget, they were made into chimeras but me...... I was never human to begin with.'
    A soft whisper could be heard 'The dead never mingle with the living for long, even if we're both partly immortals.'

Present.

    An explosion rocked the ground sending him to his left knee, Toshiro swore softly and increased the range of his ability,  and he did not like what he sensed one bit

Major Armstrong was here - and he was injured, he had taken a fight with the large cow-chimera

Soldiers were in the lowers levels, no chimera was left alive once in the range of their guns

The cow- chimera and the dog- Dolchetto were near Alphonse

Greed was there as well

......and so was the furhur of the country.
   
    'NO NO NO! This won't  be happening right now!' Toshiro yelled mentally 'Not today, not tomorrow and not ever!'
    If there was one thing he could be certain about, if this furhur was near, only death followed, and he definitely knew why, that man was not human , never was and never will be, not a homunculus like that creature.
    Toshiro doubled his efforts at finding Alphonse, he was minutes away, he could feel it.
    Anger spurred him on, he was right, both chimeras where now dead, and the homunculus Greed was not far from it either, the furhur must be nearing on Alphonse.
     Suddenly the metal armor was in his sights, despite the kinds of things he had seen in his life, his heart still hammered at the sight of the furhur approaching Alphonse with a sword in his hand.
    "ALPHONSE, LOOK OUT!" he shouted, the armored soul turned much to slowly.
    Protect the Elric brothers at all cost..... the raspy voice of the gate of truth had whispered to him. His words were more important than the fact that his leader, the furhur, was standing right there, he had one last choice.

The furhur sent his sword in and arc

Alphonse braced for impact

Martle the snake- chimera screamed.

...and blood was spilt.
