Who vs Who

It was not an easy fight. Pride and Envy spat curses at the alchemists as they fought. Toshiro ducked another blow from the homunculus, forced to move backwards. He tensed in surprise as he felt a body touch his back. He spun, fists ready, he blinked in confusion as he tilted his head slightly upward to look Edward in the eyes. "I see northen automail was a blessing for you."

Edward looked down at himself and then at Toshiro and grinned somewhat madly. "Never thought I would pass you."

"Concentrate on the fight Fullmetal." Pride sent a wave of shadows at them, forcing them to seperate. Toshiro turned to face Envy, the homunculus attempting to sneak up on Scar fighting Wrath. With a flick of his wrists, he created two thin ice blades.

With quick movement, he slashed at Envy, the homunculus turning his hands to blades to block the blow. The two spared, trading blows in hope to destroy the other. Envy rushed him and Toshiro feighted to the right, aiming for Envy's left side. He interpreted the move and swung his blade-like hand to the left. Toshiro raised his blade to block but it was too strong for the thin blade, he tried to pull back but injury was inevitable. Suddenly the sound of bullets ripped through the air, piercing the skin of the homunculus and forcing him to pull back.

Toshiro turned in slight surprise as he has forgotten that Risa and Roy were still there. Roy looked to the ice alchemist's side, Toshiro growled as he realised thar he was blind, forced to open the gate no doubt. He moved to call Riza but she had already turned as was firing at Pride.

Toshiro turned back to his fight with Envy. Scar and the Furhur exchanged somewhat graceful blows, oblivious to the world around them. Forming another blade in his hand, Envy rushed at him. Back and forth like a blur the two fought, both gaining injuries, Envy forced to heal over and over again while Toshiro suffered only minor scartches. Envy may be older by a few centuries but Toshiro had better training.

The sounds of bullets stopped, Toshiro risked a glance at Riza. Angrily she tossed her gun to the side, the weapon damaged. Envy saw this as a chance, ignoring the ice storm alchemist, he rushed to the human. Toshiro, not about to let that happen, dropped his baldes and snapped his fingers, freezing Envy solid before rushing to Riza and skating to his knees infront of her. Without much though he held his hands infront of him, the ice cracked and with a slient mantra, red light formed at his hands. A red flamed cannon.

Riza, understanding what he was about to do and why he stopped infront of her, pushed Mustang back and pulled on Toshiro's coat, yanked the gun from off his waist and them the extra case of ammunition from the slot on his boots. As she moved back, the ice holding Envy shattered, red lightning spread over his body, losing another life. "Red Flame Cannon!" A bright red glow fill the area, firing directly at Envy. The beam tore a hole through the homunculus' chest, causing more red lightning to spread.

The sounds of crackling and Edward shouting brought them back to reality.
The Fullmetal alchemist was trapped, black shadows wrapped around him like ropes, struggling was useless as the ropes tighten at every breath he let out, slowly strangling him.

Without second thought, Toshiro rushed to his side and snapped his fingers, creating a wave of icicles at Pride, as a shrill scream fill the area, Toshiro stumbled as the sound deaffened his sensitive ears and threw him offbalance but managed to pull Edward back, away from Pride.

The pair backed further towards Riza and Roy, the flame alchemist taking a stand and facing their general direction, hands raised. The alshemists' eyes widened in surprise as they stared at Pride's open and healing chest. At the dead center was a philosopher stone glowing brightly. Toshiro, head over Edward's shoulder to get a better look- the metal alchemist also studying the stone intently didn't even notice- thought of an interesting idea but first.

"Do not think about using that stone for your brother Edward, you know it may not end up well."

Edward scowled, "I know but I can't help it."

"I have an idea how to destroy it." Toshiro moved back to glance at Roy and back at Edward. The metal alchemist looked at him curiously "Melt the stone with fire, freeze it with ice-"

"And shatter it like glass. I got you, I'll get the stone from Pride, you take Envy." Both nodded and looked to Riza, who had heard the entire conversation.

The pair nodded to each other and turned back to their enemies.

Toshiro looked at his hand, blue- white whisps swirling around it before he closed it into a tight fist and raised his head to Envy. Eyes almost glowing
