(a/n: and for the first time in my life I apologize of the blood and possible swearing, but mostly for the tons of blood. *saying in scratchy, painful, forced voice: ‘I’m soo- soooaaa-  soooo-rrrrryyyyyyyy.’ *sighs in relief*  Okay, now that that’s out of the way, comment and vote of you like this book so far! If you want me to add anything please tell me, I’ll be happy for the ideas!)

The hand protruded from the ground like a horror movie. Edward froze at the sight of the familiar figure that pulled himself from the ground like a monster pulling himself out of the depths of someone’s nightmare into the real world.
“Sloth!?” Edward whispered disbelievingly.

“You know him?” Izumi looked at him questioningly.

The Commander whipped her rapier to her side, she looked murderously at the creature. “As an alchemist, I’m sure you are certain you are familiar with the term ‘Homunculus’ and that creature before happens to be known as the one called Sloth.” Izumi looked at Edward for confirmation, hiding her shock behind a well-built mask.

“Let’s destroy him once and for all.” Edward spoke up, his hands close together, ready to transmute at any given point. They all nodded in confirmation.

The Commander rushed the eight feet tall creature, blade slashed downwards in a successful hit. As she moved out of sight, to the back of him, Sloth growled angrily as he ran full speed at the group standing in front of him, Edward moved out of the way as Sid and Armstrong moved back a number of steps. Izumi simply smirked at the creature headed at her, a foot of space before she moved her body to the side, grabbing Sloth’s hand and flung him at the two bodybuilders behind her.
Said men looked at each other, nodded and with a grace uncommonly seen in muscled men such as themselves, turned simultaneously to punch the creature, sending him into the roof.

“Hold!” a voice came from the door, the five turned to acknowledge the presence, officers dressed on black surrounded the door, guns out. “We are Colonel Blackstone’s men, we were sent to aid you, what are your orders?”

Edward was surprised, he’d only meet the man once but he guessed that the soldiers were sent because of Storm. The Commander spoke up, “We gladly accept the offer, your orders are to remove the Furhur’s officers from this room, get them out of here but do not let them go.”

“Yes Ma’am!” The Furhur’s soldiers, who everyone honestly forgot, looked at Sloth in a paralyzing fear, Blackstone’s men moved in, swiftly in easily removing officers and covering their own men.

The sound of Sloth groaning brought them back to their current problem. Armstrong moved to the creature at it stood to its feet, red lightning sparking through its body as it healed damaged skin. Sloth moved again toward them. Edward clapped his hands, blue lightning arced on the ground, a pointed, alchemy formed piece of earth appeared from the ground, unexpectedly it pierced Sloth through the stomach, blood covered the tip protruding from his back. Armstrong moved in, his brass knuckles moving forth and catching Sloth in the face, sending him flying into the wall. Blackstone officer’s guns trained on him but not firing, allowing the alchemist the chance to move in.

The Commander moved in, dashing randomly in and about, raising her rapier and landing successful hits on the creature, causing red lightning to continuously to attempt to heal himself. Sloth growled in anger, standing faster than any could anticipate and swung his hand, the Commander- much smaller than her brother- was sent flying into a nearby pole. “Oliver!” Armstrong yelled his sister’s name in worry.

They rushed to her aid, Blackstone’s officers readying their aim at the creature rushing towards the downed soldier, Oliver moved behind the pole, Sloth coming behind her. “You… cannot… run from… me!” He wrapped his large hands around the pole and the Commander, intent of crushing her.
