War Part 1

"And how do you suppose this is gonna work", Jasper and I awkwardly lock arms to stay in the area of the glowing circle around us. Callista and her friend James have their hands up, using their magic to form a force field around us. I had my other Beta's stay home to offer protection to our pack. And two of Callista's friends are there to protect them.

Callista thought it would be wise to sneak onto Vampire territory to see where Lucifer is located. James and her have us hidden in the forest, only we can see the circle caging us in. But I can't help but continue to look in all directions around us.

"Like I said before Jasper, they can't see us. Unless they have a Witch with them but as always they've been at war for thousands of years. I really doubt that'll be the case. But if they are there we can see their magic", James explains to Jasper once more.

"And theres Satan himself", Callista nods toward Lucifer walking with Kyle and Fabian," you two can hear better than we can. What are they saying?"

I glance at Jasper and he glances back. I focus on just the 3 of them walking.

"We've already lost over 5 Vampires", Kyle hisses angrily," they've lost a couple wolves"

"That isn't the point you idiot. We are superior. We own the night as they hide away behind close doors", Lucifer stops walking suddenly," I take back my previous statement Kyle. What are you going on about?"

"Marcus"

"Marcus?", Fabian asks with confusion," he's nothing special"

"He's the eldest wolf in their pack. Their best weapon"

"Aha", I can feel the evil grin from Lucifer just from his realization," do you two happen to know where he stays?"

"Well-"

"No!"

Are you fucking kidding me, my wolf yells and bursts out of the magic sphere around us as we see Sierra howl.

"This ends here and now Lucifer", she growls and creeps forward quickly.

"You silly mutt. You're on vampire territory. Hello Ethan, you just can't seem to get a leash on her can you?", Lucifer laughs deeply at his jokes and crosses his arms with a sarcastic sigh," oh giirrlls"

A gust of wind twirls around us, and I have to shift in the middle of it to keep me planted to the ground. I glance behind me and see that Jasper has turned as well, but stands protectively over the witches. But Callista and James both have their arms out and they point past me. I follow where they point and she a woman vampire has Sierra held in the air. The vampire struggles against the magic and Sierra's mouth is held shut to prevent her lethal bite.

Now Ethan, my wolf snarls and pushes us past the wind I'm a few feet away when something hard gets thrown at me. Once I see the object- Kyle.

"You're killing Lucifer!!", Kyle's eyes are black pools, this fangs hiss dangerously at me. I don't take my eyes off of him.

"For what he's done he can burn in hell", I copy the demons words and try to bite his face. He shoves my head into the ground, but it doesn't phase me," you can't kill me"

"All it takes is a snap of your neck Ethan. I wouldn't be so confident", he grins and wraps his arms around my neck. My neck stiffens against his hard tug.

I-I refuse!, my wolf gasps for air, damn it he's too strong Ethan! Do something!

With a quick inhale I let out the loudest howl I could do. Kyle falls off of me holding the hides of his head. Sierra's howl joins in mine. And momentarily I listen to the bliss of our howls combined. But snap back to reality and jump on Kyle. Blood pours from his ears and his eyes are no longer black. They now are red but hold fear. I grin quickly then take a bite of his arm. I run to Sierra and see her standing over Kendra. She looks to me and runs eagerly over. I don't accept her nuzzle and let my eyes roam over her. Her pure white fur now brown and black from the Earths surface and blood covers her mouth down to her paws.

"Ethan-", she begins but her mouth drops open.

A sharp pain slowly pushes into my rib, all of the air leaves my body and I suffocate trying to get it back. I hear Callista and James yell from behind me but they run past me. I close my eyes for a second trying to catch my breath and when I open them again I see that the pain isn't happening to me. That Lucifers arm is deep into the side of my mate, she lays suffocating before me and Callista and James are trying to get him out of her.

"Ethan!! He's going for her heart!", Callista screeches as she struggles against Lucifers strength.

Wolf. Please.

My legs suddenly rise from the ground and a bark warns Callista and James to move. I can tell Lucifer is dying, his skin becoming even more pale- if possible. His eyes glance at me then he pushes more in. I almost yelp at the pain moving through the side of me and I don't even know I'm on top of him. Until I feel the pain rip out of me and I feel my teeth bite into flesh. My lung hasn't collasped but Sierras has. I turn around and see her trying to inch for me, ignoring Callista's help.

I put each one of my paws over her and stand above her. Then lower myself down against her body, my head resting on hers. Sierra's breaths are short and rapid, I take deep ones trying to control my breathing, hoping it would help her.

"Ethan"

I move my head down and nuzzle against her," just breathe pup. Breathe"

I could feel wolves nearing from my howl. But I need them here now. I lift my head high and let out another long and loud howl. Desperation is clear. But the ground shakes with something else. I look back down and see Demons flying toward us.

"Callista!", I turn my head and see that the witches and wolves have entered the clearing.

"Oh god! Sierra!!", Alexander runs to me, as.. A feline...

"Alexander", I step away from Sierra and nearly go right back at her gasps from me moving," Protect her. Please"

He stands over her and nods his head once," Yes Alpha". Talia joins him quickly and nods to me too.

"Ethan.. The demons are on vampire territory", Callista rests her hand on my large shoulder," the spell.. its been broken. Lucifer was the spell", she says with realization,"Ethan.."

"Callista?"

"They're going to kill us"
