Wake Up, Make Up, Come Out

Chapter 7

"And then we got food and talked, I don't know Angelo, he just...I don't know! He seems really nice but I don't know if he's gonna go back to being a dick or be friendly!" Isabella explained to Angelo.

"Don't over think it?" Angelo suggested, before she could continue the bell rang, she shrugged it off and went to her English class which she had with Isabella.

"Take your seats," Ms.Weldum the English teacher said, she had brown hair and brown eyes and had a pinup look to her.

"Izzy!" Parker called her from across the room.

Isabella turned around, startled, to see Parker, the fact he wasn't gonna be a dick made her feel relieved, she smiled and waved slightly at him. "Hey!"

Jared entered the room, avoiding eye contact with everyone, he hadn't been in the greatest mood after that picture went viral... the picture of him and Angelo kissing. Everybody was asking about Angelo and how was she making it harder for him to forget about her.

"Sit here!" Parker patted a spot next to him.

"Go ahead, I'll sit somewhere." Angelo said to Isabella and sat in a corner.

Isabella went over to Parker and sat beside him. "You seem awfully happy today," Isabella said as she looked at him.

Jared would usually sit next to Parker but that spot was taken by Isabella, 'what's up with those two?' He thought and searched for an empty seat; unfortunately for him that seat happened to be next to Angelo, 'Great! Just great!' He dragged himself to the back and sat next to Angelo, not even bothering to say hello.

Angelo's phone beeped, it was a picture of Parker and Isabella, hanging out, she looked over to Parker and Isabella, Parker had his phone out and he furrowed his brows.

"What the-"

"No devices!" Ms.Weldum instructed.

Jared's phone went off too, he took it out to see the exact same photo, he texted Parker 'dude, you and Isabella?'

Isabella looked at the photo Parker was looking at. "Who took that?" She asked frowning at it. It was taken at the burger joint.

"I haven't gotten a clue, whoever they are, they're a creep." Parker mumbled and pocketed his phone, "but at least they got my good angle." He joked.

"Mm, you looked okay in that photo." Isabella shrugged. It still bothered her that someone could invade her privacy so easily.

This stalker must've been the same one that took the photo of Jared and Angelo...

The class went on, their topic was debating, Angelo only focused when her name was called out.

"You will be paired with whoever is sitting next to you, and the pair you go against is the one that is lined up with you on the other side of the class, example. Angelo Streams and Jared Mist are partners and they go against Isabella Rodriguez and Parker Sanchez!" Ms.Weldum explained.

Jared hit his head on the table today was shaping up to be a great one! First he had to sit next to Angelo, now he was partnered with her? Really universe, really?

Isabella was somewhat happy about Parker being her partner, Angelo would be with her so it didn't seem as bad.

"Oh neat!" Parker smiled and high-fives Isabella.

"Fuck my life..." Angelo groaned also hitting her head on the table.

"Wait what are we even debating on?" Isabella asked since she hadn't been paying attention to anything.

"You can choose your topic," Ms.Weldum said.

"That doesn't seem too bad," Angelo sighed.

"I expect you guys to prepare at home too!" Ms.Weldum added.

Angelo banged her head on the table, again.

"Let's go to the other half of our group," Isabella suggested and went over to Jared and Angelo.

Parker followed along.

Angelo texted Lux explaining that she had to go to someone's house for a project, she didn't say who though.

Lux sighed, a knock was on the door, he secretly hoped it was Rory. He flattened his clothes and fixed his hair then went to open the door.

"Hey," Rory said as Lux opened the door, he entered the house and and sat in his usual armchair that he'd adopted, "where's Angelo?" He asked looking around.

"She's doing a project with someone... since she's gone wanna hang?" Lux asked sheepishly.

"Yeah I got some time to kill, so why not?" Rory shrugged.

"So what do you wanna do?" Lux asked hiding his excitement.

"I don't know what can we do?" Rory asked.

"Wanna go to the ice rink?" Lux suggested, he was rather fond of ice skating.

"Yeah." Rory smiled slightly and got up. "Let's go."

They left the house and headed to the rink, that's were girls started to crowd Lux, he was very popular at the ice skating rink...

"Hey Lux!" A girl named Ramona said, she had big lips and dark skin with raven hair that reached her shoulders.

"Hey Mona," Lux smiled at her.

Rory looked at the ice warily, he hadn't ever been good at iceskating, and really didn't wanna make a fool out of himself on the ice.

"So... who's your... friend?" Ramona asked bitterly.

"His name is Rory, c'mon Rory lets go!" Lux took his hand and helped him onto the ice.

Rory squeezed Lux's hand trying to find balance, what was the point of this? His movings were robotic and he tried not to fall on his butt.

"Go Lux!" Ramona and other girls cheered him.

"You ok?" Lux smiled at Rory, ignoring his crowd, he was completely focused on Rory.

He gently pulled him up so he could stand properly on his feet, Rory didn't noticed but he had been hunching over.

"Follow my lead," Lux said and slowly moved on the ice.

"I'm gonna fall!" He yelped as Lux helped him glide across the ice slowly. "You're going too fast!"

"Hun, I'm going slower than an amoeba, it's a cell by the way, slowest one there is." Lux said.

"I know! I'm a goddamn tutor!" Rory yelled, still panicking.

"Hey, look at my eyes," Lux instructed, holding back laughter.

Rory looked into Lux's eyes. They had a glint of amusement in them while his were frantic.

"Tonight I'm the tutor, tonight you listen to me..." Lux whispered, so only he and Rory could hear, as if this day would've been their special secret.

"Okay," Rory whispered smiling a little, therefore forgetting about the ice.

Lux pulled Rory close, hands on his waist, he had a tight grasp. He slowly glided on the ice, holding Rory so he wouldn't fall. He felt Rory's heart pounding in his chest, Lux smiled because so was his. Both of them had a rush of adrenaline and their hearts were in sync, they both had a rhythmic pounding in their chests.

"This is amazing..." Rory muttered not taking his eyes off Lux.

"I know..." Lux whispered, being more amazed on how incredible Rory's eyes were, ice skating would come and go but a moment like this... if only it would last forever...

Lux leaned in and kissed Rory, the moment couldn't last forever but the memory would.
