Hoseok waved goodbye to Namjoon as he stepped into his own class, heading over to his seat quietly while shuffling through the loud crowds of students around him. He put his bag down and took a seat, pulling out a book and reading before class started. He couldn't read for long, though, because he was interrupted just a few seconds after opening up his book.

"Hoseok-ah!" Yoongi screamed, nearly making Hoseok jump out of his seat. "H-Hyung!" Hoseok froze, "what's wrong?!" Yoongi grabbed Hoseok by the wrist and clumsily pulled him out of the chair. "Tae!" He screeched, "Help him, please!" Hoseok didn't dare say a word—he was to confused to say anything—and simply followed Yoongi up and down flights of stairs, through corridors and twisting and turnig every now and then until they ended up at the swimming pool.

"He's in there," Yoongi explained very briefly, "I don't know what happened, we were just talking and he suddenly decided to fall inside!" Hoseok eyed the pool for a split second before ridding himself of his shirt, shoes and trousers before diving straight into the pool, creating a splash so huge it probably drenched the entire area. But this wasn't the time to worry about that, Yoongi had just told him that Taehyung drowned himself and he had to find him.

Hoseok hated how it always took him so long to swim downwards. Especially in emergencies like this, it always bugged him out how he was never able to reach the bottom of the pool quick enough. No matter how fast he tried to swim down, no matter how deep he thought he'd gone, Taehyung was still nowhere in sight. "What the hell..." Hoseok muttered as he looked around for him. Of course, the pool was huge, and he would have sworn he wasn't even halfway down yet.

It was only a matter of seconds before Hoseok noticed something far in the distance, very far in the distance. It was so far, he would easily have missed it if he weren't looking around so hard. He approached it as fast as he could and the object slowly began to give more clues as to what it is. After a short while it was clear that it was a person, but whether it was Taehyung or not, Hoseok still wasn't sure. Well, if there was another person here, he might as well rescue them too, right?

He swam closer and closer to the person and he swore he couldn't think for a solid five seconds. Taehyung, his friend with whom he'd spent so much time with, who was always the light of their conversations, that person in front of him barely showed any signs of him. Taehyung looked lifeless and pale as he sunk in front of Hoseok's eyes, completely different from the loud and naughty Taehyung he knew.

He scooped the pale boy into his arms and headed up to the surface. Gosh, now he was even more worried. What if he didn't make it in time? What if Taehyung's heart stopped beating before he got to safety? What if he ends up like Yoongi? He remembered how depressed Taehyung was when Yoongi passed, he didn't want to feel like that. He was pretty sure nobody wants to feel like that. Yet, that was exactly how Hoseok thought he would be feeling once he gets the two of them out of the pool.

Finally, by the time his head got above the water, he pulled Taehyung's head up to the surface so that the younger could get some fresh air. He's never been involved in these rescue things before, so he was extremely nervous, especially when taking care of one of his closest friends.

"Hobi!" He heard Yoongi call, "Is he good?!" Hoseok honestly didn't know how to answer, but before he could give a response, he noticed something happening to Taehyung. In the blink of an eye, Taehyung's skin had gone all black, and he had reverted to his weak changeling form. "Crap," Hoseok muttered. Now this was bad. First from getting shot, then from starvation, then from drowning! There was only a matter of time until Taehyung really gets into a danger any worse, but anything that was worse than drowning would probably ultimately be death.

Hoseok sped to the side of the pool as fast as he could while still carrying Taehyung. It took much longer than expected, so long that by the time they reached the end, even Hoseok was struggling to breathe.
